I'd like to play Shogun but I just cant help but remember how lacklustre he looked after coming off injuries against Griffin and Coleman. I do think he can TKO/KO Bones tho so will be hedging with Shogun KO of the Night at least!

I honestly dont think rua is going to be affected by the layoff this time with his injuries complicating him also. He could have some ring rust but the quality of treatment and the personal things he had going on during his recovery against griffin are non-existent this time around.

I also remember reading how dana said he was going to make sure Rua had better doctors perform this surgery and cover his rehab, basically meaning it would be done in america.

10 month layoff isn't really all that long. I like Shogun at current odds +155. And his surgery was done in LA.

I think rua will be in top shape for sure, rehab is everything and he wasn't able to commit to it prior to fighting griffin and it clearly showed.

hell ya good to hear. All the plays were solid last night except ellenberger. He definitely earned the decision in round 2 and 3 but round 1 was dangerous. I dont know what judge scored 30-27 rocha yet, dam crackhead.

o it was Adalaide Byrd, i dont think he has ****** up in awhile.

just a side note for future bets. Im going to start keeping track of my mma props record. I used to bet them a little when I first started betting but was not having the desired success. I was +money but well below 50% on the picks so I took a break from posting any. However, since the merger I have been honing my skills on props and focusing on props with more reliable outcomes like decisions/ko's instead of FOTN type props etc..

Its paying off and im hitting on a much better %. I usually only have 1 prop or 2 a card but they have been hitting. Recently I was on a 7 prop win streak until I lost lawler/souza over 2.5 rounds by 30 seconds. I had 2 other prop plays last night, mendes by dec and forrest by dec, aside from silva by ko so im confident to start posting them and hitting them at a high %.

Any intentions of arbing out of this...perhaps if Shogun reaches +200? Granted, it would be a low risk free profit margin but I kinda wanna just sit back and enjoy this fight without any risk, plus I hate betting against Shogun! But then on the flipside Im thinkin that we got Bones at a good odds in comparison to what he is at now so value-wise it makes sense to ride it out!

Also, do you reckon they'll be some openers for future events this evening/tonight? I noticed Sportbet have Wineland/Faber and Miller/Shalorus listed without odds.

about the miller/shalrous wineland/faber odds, it is tuesday haha but it is not a CRIS book. I had not noticed sportbet hanging the matchups out there but im definitely going to keep my eyes open today for the lines. Sportbet is also 5d so Ill be checking frequently, im really interested in miller/shalorus.

As far as rua goes, I would defintely recommend buying back. The only reason I decided I am not going to is because I only have $160 on jones right now so Id rather just let it ride, then later ill buy back on a rua prop because Ill be betting more on jones.

Also just noticed that they've got GSP/SIlva listed but no odds, but if u look on Bestfightodds.com it say that 5dimes and Sportbet have released the odds?

Yeah first time I noticed them do it was last week when they had Omigawa/Mendes props listed but with no odds. Was listed for a few days before they actually added the odds so might be same with these. But then Sportbet/5dimes also wer first to release the Marquadt/Sexy line as well so maybe they will release them tonight.
