She also hasn't faced anyone of note. I see her getting outpointed to a decision loss if she doesn't do it within 1 or 2 rounds. Good luck everyone!

I was on him as well. Had to take the younger dude in that one with good punching power that dropped a weight class. 39 year old Grishin was game though with those elbows when breaking the clinch.

Oh and the foot stomps were crippling. lol..

Got to go with Muin Gafurov on next fight at +115. Skipped the previous fights. That Mullarkey dude looked like he took a dive. I'd bet he bet on the other guy to win. Very suspicious fight.

3 of the 5 rounds were so close they could have gone either way which is how it happened with the scorecards.

Lol C'mon man. I had no money in the fight but it was -400 live odds late in the 5th for Kara-France.

Odds are not guarantee. I have seen a guy being -1200 on live odds as fight was ending and lost the fight to judges. The oddsmakers do not have access to round 1, 2, 3, 4 scorecards. So Albazi may have been 3-1 on 2 of the judges when the -400 odds were posted live in 5th round.

Also don't forget that the 3rd round was huge. France was one second away from passing out from the near naked choke and this would have affected the scoring in round 4 which went to Albazi's favor.

Never bet live odds on a big chalk in UFC. It only takes one punch or kick to swing a -800 to an instant loser.

Judges in combat sports (boxing and mixed martial arts) are shady. No question about it.

You have to remember, the judges don't watch the fights the same that we do.

I don't really care about either guys so I wasn't paying that close of an attention so was it a clear robbery? Who knows but if I were a fighter, I would always feel uneasy going to a decision.

I'm not saying the odds are wrong. I'm just saying it is not uncommon for a live big fav to lose. The fight was very close and a swing of one of the judges could have caused it to go either way which is what happened.

And yes the judges can be shady but I don't think they intentionally wanted France to lose. France was the public favorite so the books did very good with Albazi winning but I don't think the judges were bribed by the books. If there was some pressure to let Albazi to win it probably came from UFC promoters as they wanted to have him go undefeated in Abu Dabi for the next PPV. An Arab guy fighting in Middle East would be a huge profit for UFC in terms of PPV sold and ticket sales.
