Does anyone get the feeling that there’s actually a legitimate chance Volk might be able to pull off the upset? I just have this strange gut feeling that if anyone can do it, it’s him. I can see Islam having a hard time keeping Volk held down like other opponents. Also, Volk not tapping to Ortega’s submission/choke in their fight showed me he’s EXTREMELY strong willed. This fight is incredibly intriguing in my opinion….

I do think it's a tricky fight Volk can frustrate Makachev on a feet, he's got way faster hands, feinting (best in mma imo), People betting on Islam banking on idea that one takedown and it's pretty much over for Volk. The problem is Volk is average size featherweight and Islam is a big lightweight Volk can lose entire round in bad position maybe not getting choked out but losing 10-8 on cards.
