Marquardt/Maia rematch possible at ADCC 9/26

This is a no-gi grapplers tourny over the course of 2 days. Be awesome if we could get some lines for it.

Go through the weight classes, you will see some familiar faces, especially under 76.9kg, RUSH.

Nate and Maia in the under87.9kg have a solid chance of meeting up again. Be awesome if you could bet on this, the no-gi makes it very interesting.

Yup, read about this a week or so back. Very interesting. I don't think Nate can hang with Maia in pure grappling. Maia has beaten some HW and LHW in grappling...he's a beast!

Looks like Maia isn't going to compete at the ADCC. But, it looks like he might want to get a fight in before the year is over.

"Maia: No. Now, I’m just planning a 10-day vacation, because I trained so hard for this fight, so I think it will be too close to compete at ADCC. I’m going to be in Europe for a series of seminars by that time, and I probably will go there to see the event. But I’m not going to compete because my priority is the UFC, and I must be 100 percent if I want to fight at the end of the year. "

Demian Maia saw his 11-fight winning streak come grinding to a halt at UFC 102 “Couture vs. Nogueira” on Saturday at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Ore.
