Wow! Kind of unorthodox. I was wondering today who they're going to find to fight Brock anytime soon.

Wow. I thought I would be able to see Carwin one more time before he fought Brock. This is a tough one.

well unfortunate news to start.. looks like yvel is not in the ufc just yet, they didnt reach agreements.

Ben rothwell has commited to fighting velasquez now, no word from velasquez yet. Great matchup imo. Another real stepping forward for cain if he can beat the 6'5 rothwell. Rothwell is a lot like sylvia, aside from training together, they both know how to use their height and reach extremely well. We know cain can take a punch and he presses so I think he will get the takedown no problem. Be interesting to see what the line is, a lot people are behind cain but it would be crazy to make rothwell a big underdog. So, if cain comes out -250 or so ill have to take it because im thinking the line is going to skyrocket.

Even though Carwin is a new face in MMA and has little hype behind him, i'm very interested inhow this fight is gonna play out. 6' 4" and 259.5 pounds in his last fight going against Lesnars 6' 2" 265. Most likley alot of clinching up against the cage and take downs by both since neither are the most technical strikers. But who knows if Carwin can land one of his "meatcans" on Lesnar he can stun him and take him out

I like Carwin here. I have said it before and i willo say it again. Brock Lesnar will fall from grace against a striker. If he does that little extend his arms and turn away thing he did against Mir, Carwin will take his head off. Lesnar has not fought a striker yet. Sure Mir and Coture and hearing are well rounded, but they are not walking highlight reels. Anything is possible, but one thing is certain, we well see Brock Lesnar out of his comfort zone and we will get to see how complete this guy is. Gimmie 1k on Carwin

dang how many fights brock had.....you guys are making it seem this guy has a martial arts back round....his backround is wrestling so his form will not show after 6 fights which none went past the 3rd round....he will ground and pound...and wait til he is fluent in that....its a wrap for a lot of HW fighters.

Because he was going against a bigger wrestler and now he gets rothwell.

How many fights has Carwin had ? How many losses ? The vast Majority of his fights havent gone out of the 3RD minute! This is the first legit striker Brock has faced. carwin also was a college wrestler and has decent take down defense. Brock is not unstopable, dont forget that he was losing and getting out classed by Coture till he landed that temple shot. Dont forget that is has looked VERY VERY uncomfortable getting hit. I have no problem placing money on Carwin

Although, as we all know, anything can happen in this sport.

I am telling all of you, because I care about you This is not the fight to take the underdog. Carwin is a D II wreslter which is leaps and bounds away from a D I National Champ like Lesnar. Carwin has beaten one decent opponent in Gonzaga and honestly if any of you have seen that fight, he was a split second away from being knocked out himself before he caught gonzaga with that short right hand. Now Carwin definitely has knock out power but so does Brock. Personally I see Brock winning this fight easily.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Carwin really isn't a 'striker," just heavy handed. Brock will have the reach over him but their is no reason to think this will not turn into a wrestling match. While carwin was busy getting beat in D2, brock was busy being a D1 champ. Brocks chin tho will be the unknown but carwins chin shouldn't be counted on either.

Carwin has a small chance...but I see Lesnar winning this via a vicious Ground and Pound.

Carwin is a big guy and has accomplished a great deal...but the only way I see him winning this by a lucky KO on the feet.
