His mother did not want him to take this fight when his dad passed. Khabib told his mother this would be his last fight and gave her his word.

One of the saddest things i ever saw in sports. watching him crying his eyes out thinking of his dad was so sad. Nobody was beating him tonight. That was the best i ever saw him look. Justin could have hit him with the ring post and it would have hurt. what an incredible pace

Parents die and it sucks that's for sure!! Gotta understand it's the Cycle of life though..

It will and does happen for most Children of Parents at some point.. I'm bracing for it with my 83 year old mother myself now. She has good days and bad days.. Breaks my heart...

Don't expect him to come back. Who's there to face him? He destroyed the top 3 guys. Might be tempted by huge money but there are no outstanding challenges left for him. Great career - Nice bow on it tonight!
