UFC 250 in Brazil - Jose Aldo to challenge Henry Cejudo
UFC president Dana White told ESPN that the 135-pound championship fight will headline UFC 250 on May 9 in Sao Paulo. Additional sources confirmed that both sides have agreed to the bout.

Cejudo, 33, relinquished his 125-pound title late last year in order to focus on the 135-pound division. In addition to being a two-division UFC champion, he is a U.S. Olympic gold medalist in wrestling.
Aldo (28-6) is the longest-reigning UFC champion in featherweight history.

The UFC 250 pay-per-view event will take place at Ginasio do Ibirapuera.

This is cool in that we get to see Jose Aldo's great takedown defense against Henry Cejudo's great takedown offense.

Aside from that, Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan may have deserved the title shot more than Jose Aldo does.

Aldo does have seniority and greater household recognition. Which are now being prioritized higher in contrast to when the Fertittas were running things.
