Does 5Dimes Really Ban Winners ??
They claim on their site that they cater to professional gamblers and recreational gamblers. Has anybody here been banned for winning? I know they probably don't like gambling on both sides of the fight (arbitraging). I'm curious to hear some experiences/reasons for being banned at 5D

They dont ban you, but they will effectively ban you from taking good opening lines by severly limiting your account. I think I can only bet $10 or $20 on an opener, so I've just stopped using the account.

They usually just ban scammers and shot takers. Some winners will get their limits cut or get put on a delay though.

I can only win 50 dollars on a bet on openers and i cant make larger parlays. But im not fully limited like i am on most other bookies, as of yet. But they will limit everyone who wins an substantial amount over time, so thats how the bizz works on all bookies. You can say that it is a standard market practice. Stimulate looser to loose more and effectively ban winners.

I think most limits and bans at 5D stem from either chasing steam or betting bad lines.

If you are mostly betting/winning on one niche sport where you have shown you have an edge over them, that might eventually get you limited in some way too.
