Ortega's fanboys praising him getting beat up like a pinata. Ortega's stand up got exposed. He'll never beat Holloway. Hope they have a rematch so I can go all in on Holloway.

#387Renato Caneiro will be the next fight and it might be better than this one. He will be Max biggest problem. I hope Max is getting paid he should be top three to five in the UFC with a pay check. Altho a meathead at times he really seems like a great guy and when he fights i aint taping shit and watching it later. I am surprised he wasn't staying southpaw. I'm not sure he missed once in that stance. Could be a big achilles heal for T City in the future.Comment -

This reminds me of when Rich Franklin kept trying to rematch and beat Anderson Silva.. It was suicide for him every time as his face would get pounded on and busted up by the better striker that could always keep the fight standing..

#393True, but only time Max got into any trouble with Ortega was when he stopped moving and looked confused in 3rd. He def needs some fight IQ as well, seemed to fall apart when hit with the slightest adversity until he finished the round and regrouped. Much respect to Ortega, that dude is tough, but anyone could tell the fight was between Holloway's skill and Ortega's heart. The skill level striking is miles apart.Comment -

#396Well I didn't post pending for this event mostly because I didn't think I was gonna be around to watch it.. Plans fell thru, bet a few fights and won a couple and lost a couple but the main event loss is what really killed me in the end.. Lost $350 or so on dimes with this event and with Ortega getting worked over and finished in the end..
I need to reset restart for the next event.. This was not good!!! Not pleased with picking Ortega and busting the event like that.. I've had a bunch of break even events this year but this was a clear loss and I guess I was due.. It all came down to that last fight for me.

#402Sports fans might find this interesting.
Years ago, there was a surfer from hawaii known as Andy Irons who was a 3 time world champion. Out of nowhere, Andy Irons developed anxiety and mental / psychological issues. He couldn't figure out how or why it happened--kind of like how Max Holloway's issues came out of nowhere. Anyways later on a trip, Andy Irons got dengue fever. Tragically he died young. The autopsy found faint traces of meth in his system which was shocking as his wife and everyone close to him knew he smoked weed but were positive he never did meth.
Best analysis says whoever Andy Irons got his weed from was lacing it with meth, which caused his anxiety and mental issues. (Ditto with everyone who got anxiety smoking weed & couldn't figure out why.)
Max could had something similar happen to him. Hawaii is a liberal democrat run state like chicago, california, new york et al. By that alone you can probably guess it is kind of a fkd up place.
Needed Ortega to finish a few parlays but Holloway winning works for me. Would be happy no matter who won that fight both guys so fkn good.Comment -

Drug dealers lace their weed with meth cuz they think it'll make their product more addictive.
Similar to how sugar is in everything in the supermarket to get you addicted--potential leading cause of obesity.

#409Really enjoyable night of fights. This is the second best card I've ever attended live, settling in behind UFC 218 in Detroit last year. Very exciting fights and a great crowd in Toronto. I also battled back after a tough prelims for an excellent betting result.
Profited 20.27u with bets on Rakic+Clark U1.5, Ferreira ITD, Eye ML + Decision, Ansaroff ML, Santos R2, Dawodu -3.5 + Decision, Nelson ML + ITD + Submission + R2, Holloway ML + Holloway -5.5 + KO/TKO + R4, Prop Parlays, and Live Betting. Also won 2u on Multi-Event Parlays with 10.78u of MEPs carrying over to future events.
The Holloway win and the two Exact Picks on the Rakic and Eye fights were memorable. Hoping to finish the year strong.Comment -

#419No.
Don't confuse Hugo and make him think he's better than he is. Its normal for him to blow almost every play and be in a deep hole leading into the main card which luckily for him, saves him.
Its also normal for people to get burned tailing his picks cuz they don't keep up with his live bets and live hedges in the thread.
That's not solid work.
