Askren being the 170 lb One FC champion, there's a chance he might be in line for a title shot.
In which case, his first fight could be Ben Askren vs Tyron Woodley. For anyone who knows the implications of that fight, I think they could appreciate why this is up for consideration now.
Otherwise, people seem to avoid fighting Kamaru Usman, Demian Maia and Colby Covington.
