UFC fighters blame the UFC whenever they don't like the healthcare they receive. They think the UFC is to blame for healthcare in the united states being terrible. That's the extent of their medical knowledge on topics like cutting weight.
If you know who Matt "The Immoral" Brown is. He got his nickname "The Immortal" by surviving a heroin overdose. If you know who Jarred "Flash" Gordon is, he survived 2-3 heroin overdoses where his heart stopped. If you know who the UFC fighter Josh Samman is, he died from OD'ing on something (think it was heroin) not that long ago.

So you see, there are UFC fighters who have had issues and there are many UFC fighters who have died from complications with drugs.

All of this goes ignored by the media who continues to insist that weight cutting is the real "dangerous issue". Its an agenda moreso than something which reflects real lyfe.

Double down on the nonsense, nice. First off, NEVER, did I say that UFC fighters did not have issues with drugs. Its prevalent in all sports, not just the UFC. . I am well aware of issue a small percentage of fighters have had. You keep saying UFC fighters blame the healthcare in the US, who? Do you realize not all UFC fighters are American, what does American Healthcare have to do with any of this? Moreso, what does the media have anything to do with this? Are you really trying to make the case that Heroin/drugs is a bigger issue that weight cutting? NO SHIT!

What are you talking about, "ignored by the media'? You say "the media" are you discrediting FOX as well? Because they have more stories about Demi Lovato and Heroin, than they do about weight cutting. Weight cutting IS AN ISSUE, but comparing it to Heroin is penetrating crazy. Politicians in my state are actually debating now the benefits of marijuana on the Heroin crisis, so it is a big issue in politics. If anyone, media outlets or otherwise, think that weight cutting is more of an issue the Heroin, the conversation needs to cease. You are arguing though that "the media" is making a big deal about weight cutting, but it only seems to be an issue within MMA, and its a very real issue. Fighters have died from weight cutting, a female fighter just died recently from trying to cut weight. Tell Max Holloway its not an issue. Take all the footage of these fighters (Romero) barley being able to walk, and yet you still say its an agenda? That is pure nonsense.

The fighters you mentioned (and their are others that you missed, Court McGee for example) has nothing to do with weight cutting, so what is your point anymore? Are you saying that drugs/heroin in the UFC is being ignored as compared to weight cutting? Or is that is a rant, that YOU personally don't think that weight cutting is an issue. If that is that case, fine, I regress unless you want to look at facts or unless you want to try it yourself. If you are talking about MMA specific media, than of course they are going to cover the topic because it is an issue, whether you choose to believe it or not. Now do the same with Demi Lovato or drug use.

What would anyone have to gain by bringing to light that weight cutting is dangerous? What is your knowledge on cutting weight? I can send you article after article of reputable sports scientist as well as physiologist who agree that it is dangerous, but I assume you have more knowledge than someone who went to school for it right. I guess you would say this to the mother of Jess Lindsay, that her death isn't a real issue.

There are wrestlers in high school who died cutting weight. They weren't even being paid. Where's the public outrage? There is none. The sad reality is there is no "outrage" on anything unless the mind controlling media spams people with #fakenews telling them they should be "offended" by some agenda based silliness that is normally not important or pivotal within the grand scheme of things.

Romero couldn't walk after cutting weight? Some people can't walk after having the flu or food poisoning. Is there anything that conclusively shows cutting weight is permanently more damaging to someone's health than having the flu? No. If there was you would see MMA fighters coming forward and info dumping on it.

The simple fact is there are people like Makwan Amirkhani who have 800+ amateur wrestling matches. This means they might have cut weight literally hundreds of times and they're still competing seemingly without issue. If weight cutting is bad, then how is Makwan Amirkhani still competing?

The "war against cutting weight" is a media manufactured and agenda based fabrication.

Most media outlets and politicians lean socialist. Socialists hate the concept of the rugged individual. Sports like MMA are all about rugged individualism. Do you notice how socialists have a tendency to hate Conor McGregor? They complain about the UFC giving Conor "too much freedom" and the UFC "not promoting people"--as if the UFC were responsible for "making" Conor as successful as he is. The bottom line is they needed a punchline to fool people into believing "MMA IS THE DEVIL" and their talking point for achieving this is focusing on weight cutting which is a grey area where they might be able to manufacture their own narrative.

Anyways what I'm saying is too deep and will fly right over your head.

That's not how the conversation went. You wrote, in a reply to one of his bets, "Hedging= -ev. Plays in favour of the books in the longterm. Unless you have a real reason besides being scared to lose / closing the Day in a loss." Pretty much insinuated that he was hedging because he was scared of losing.
