I really think Anders was severely limited by his lack of right sided attacks. Machida circled to Anders's right the entire fight, and Anders ended up chasing him rather than cornering him because he had no right sided attacks to keep Machida from getting away. He also had nothing to set up his left hand, so even when he threw it and it landed, it often didn't land as flush as it could have since Machida was already circling out to his right. Anders desperately needs to add right sided attacks to his standup.

if totally agree.....anders didn't make it a dirty enough fight...Machida simply avoided the KO straight left and pointed it out.....I also question his ground game....not that it looked BAD....but he pulled guard on Machida.....

Didn't expect much out of tonight. Got a little bit out of it. I'll take it. More than anything I'm pleased with my discipline tonight.
