I think he pulled or tore an ab muscle. Not sure that would've broken a rib.

I popped cartilage in a jiu jitsu tournament in a similar way. Painful. Feels like bubble wrap going off in your torso when you even sip a breath in. It's not technically a broken bone but I've heard it referred to as a broken rib anyway. That was like 6-7 years ago and I still have the knot sticking out of my rib cage.

IMO, If a fighter gets mounted and gets pounded on and taps out, that should also be a TKO, but it isn't.

sweet fight though , porier been in a ton of exciting bouts lately .... him vs justin gaetje would be absolute fireworks

Yeah man. I won just a little bit today. I've been avoiding big losses for a real long time. I've had a number of cards now where the breaks just happen where I'm so close to big wins and instead I end up hanging right around even.

I'll take the +1u win but damn If either Guida or Fortuna go differently it's +6u and if both hit it's a real big night. Fortuna was one poor armbar attempt from winning that decision too. Still waiting on that breakthrough. Maybe next card...

Right there with you buddy. If Dodson gets the decision I win 10 units. Instead, I win a little over 2 (after the parlay is graded right). Had Dodson in a couple 1 unit parlays to win good money

that was by far the tightest triangle he had in, legit think that couldve been a 50/50 finish ..... what a terrible time to stand them up when he had so many chances to before that..... tough to watch that, was super bloody but it looked like it was very close to locked in

For W/L purposes I'll count the Guida/Lauzon bets as one loss since I lost on that fight.

So I won 1.75 units on Suarez. If I don't watch any tape, I would have faded and lost a unit on the dog for a net loss of 2.75 units. I was leaning towards playing Quinones ML or by decision but after further study I went with OVER 1.5 rounds in a parlay that hit. I talked myself out of Fortuna SOMEHOW and saved myself at least a couple units there. All in all I'm guessing I saved myself 6 units by doing tape study on 5 of the fights tonight.
