Spohn puffing his chest and standing there looking all proud of himself. Go away Spohn. You're trash.

I'm glad regarding Byrd. He deserves a contract he looked phenomenal.

Agreed. He tossed that dude around the cage before the quick finish... Spohn acting like a hero in the post-fight interview. I'm so over this oaf.

Deanda had Spohn hurt. Spohn was on his hands and knees. Deanda hit him in the back of the head 3 times. Big John stopped it. Doctor checked out Spohn. Fight continued with Big John taking 1 point from Deanda for fouls. Spohn came back to hurt Deanda standing, then it went to the ground and Spohn got the tap.
Deanda seems like one of those guys that really hates being choked & will tap to anything.

Wheww. I thought Spong was done, those were illegal shots to the back of the head.. Was hoping for a DQ at that point. Spong man'd up and woke up and came out swinging and finished after the break.. That was nervous time and that saved me from getting slaughtered..
Serves me right for tailing some no name Sports writer and being lazy.. I deserve to lose a few bucks.. You don't put in the work you lose..
Was entertaining for about 2 seconds.. Back to the real UFC fellas!!!!

I was betting on Spohn at -210. I could've arbed out at +300 but let it ride. We got lucky Jibbs, Demon, Shag. Sometimes luck goes in your favor as well. I think that's the luckiest I've ever been in a fight, Spohn was gone, those illegal blows made Big John stand them up and that gave Spohn the rest and recovery he needed. That said, I've been unlucky several times so i was due for a lucky one.

I would give the following fighters contracts, in order:
O'Malley, Le, Kenney, Hamilton. Spohn can go him and stick his thumb up his ass and keep waiting. Forget him.

No Deanda seems like a fat can with no skills other then a big punch standing early on before he quickly gasses..

Sometimes better to be lucky than good. And as far as luck goes with betting, most people are usually due for some good luck cause betting has a way of handing out more bad breaks than good breaks.

Yeah this is the luckiest I've ever been too. My last time I was this lucky I took Derrick Lewis huge against toy nelson. Derrick got dominated and taken down 7 times and won a split LMFAO. I'll take luck all day if it wins me money

Only that black dude Outlaw for me because of his wrestling a freakish strength.. Maybe Le but he looked like he was fading a bit and to hesitant.. Not sure if he even has a ground game though? Kenney maybe Bellator...
Not sold on any of the other fighter competing at the UFC level other then Outlaw though but that's just my opinion.. These other guys all look like B level fighters that should be fighting in Legacy on AXS to be honest and not in the UFC or even Bellator...

I feel for Kenney too. He fought his ass off. Three rounds of aggressiveness. Pushed himself to the limit. Never coasted. He's undefeated and improving every fight. Hard to argue with O'Malley. Obviously he's #1 from tonight, but Le and Kenney had very solid arguments.

You mean Outlaw? Hamilton lost to Kenney.
Also - Disagree. Some of these guys were good. O'Malley and Kenney are both young so keep in mind they will progress. Put the UFC behind them and more training opportunities and resources... they're good.

There's too many deserving of contracts to give to Le IMO. I didn't think he looked good. He was backing away from his opponent the whole time, just looking to get single shots here and there. I don't think the UFC is looking for that.

I ment Outlaw.. Yes.. Edited my post.. Mixed names up there for second.. Black dude with the single leg take downs and body slams.. Almost got the RNC's.. Reminded me a bit of Kevin Lee...

O'Malley to skinny and stringy and will taken down and completely worked on the ground at the UFC level against the first good grappler he faces... Kenney looked ok to me so maybe I can agree a bit there, still needs work..

I think he looked pretty good. Fought a smart fight but also kept it exciting by throwing pretty damaging strikes. The biggest knock on him was that he was a good striker but had no ground game. He showed he could keep it standing and still open up enough to get a finish. This fight showed more progress than if he just landed a straight right and put DeAnda down within the first minute.

I think outlaw deserves a contract. He faught impressive and should have got multiple finishes. Took him down with ease and on the ground held him there. Not even in bodylock triangle and still held him easy

There are a few MMA fighters who will tap quickly to any choke. They just can't take it.
I think Matt Mitrione tapped to every choke ever attempted on him. He tapped to loose guillotines that weren't locked in. Teddy Holder could be another one.

O'Malley is 22. He can grow into that body a little bit. Also, I see the UFC trending back to highly skilled standup fighters with cardio and takedown defense to dictate a striking battle. O'Malley doesn't have the takedown defense yet, but maybe he can learn it.

I didn't say he couldn't grow, I referring to if they were thrust into the UFC ranks and fighting now..
