Either of those guys could've won that first round with a bit more volume. I'd give it to Overeem just for cleaner strikes but Werdum probably landed more kicks

I think they give it to Overeem. I scored it a draw 28-28. Werdum shouldn't have gone to the ground. His corner telling him that he won teh first is why he didn't go for the finish.

Bad judging. Should have been a draw at the very least. That's a 10-8 Round. Wobbled him adn then spent the rest of the round on top.

Could have been a draw but I did have Reem winning the 1st 2 rounds.. Probably the right call.. Reem is a cautious fighter protecting that glass. He almost went slept in the 3rd as he was on rubber legs...

i actually dont think that was a robbery.. couldve went to either guy or draw by the UFC scoring

round 1 was a toss up 6-3 strikes lol overeem landed the harder shots in round 1 and werdum landed a couple more shots but way less damage / conviction , round 2 was clear 10-9 overeem then round 3 was a fringe 10-8 by the ufc scoring, imo its a clear 10-8 but ufc judges hardly ever give those 10-8s unless the guy is dropped PLUS pounded even more and werdum just jumped into his guard like an idiot and stalled to screw himself when he couldve finished or got the 10-8 at worst

so judges had it round 1-2 overeem and 1 judge had 10-8 round 3 werdum others had 10-9

Yeah. I had money on Werdum so was expecting a draw due to that bad decision.

But thought at least two judges would know how to score a 10-8 round. That's pretty much a textbook 10-8 round. He wobbled Overeem on two different occasions.

I don't either. I had $50 on Werdum and I was pretty confident that he probably needed to finish the fight in the 3rd to be safe. When he took Reem down after he had him almost finished against the cage, I couldn't believe it.
