Right but Markos won a close decision. Theo too... I think Zahabi got at least one 30-27 scorecard. Pretty heavy Canadian lean IMO.

Guys, if you think a fight is gonna go the distance its very important to consider WHO would get the gift decision. I thought Taleb could have got that other fight but no way Theo doesn't get that call in Canada as popular as he is

I seriously believe that the UFC will has a ref problem that they better get settled quickly.. People will get tired of watching Refs miss calls and judges score garbage fights..

I think the judges are overscoring the fighter moving forwards.

And underscoring the guy moving backwards.

Taleb was moving backwards in his fight.

Ferreira was moving backwards also.

That could be why those guys lost the decision.

Aggressiveness is being scored high tonight.

Until they start doing away with letting Canadian, Brazilian, etc be judges for hometown cards, it won't get better. Referees have been awful tonight because they are bottom barrel. The Keith guy is the WORST

True, there was so much action in that Taleb fight though that it shouldn't matter. Cage control is one of those big things in tight less action fights IMO. Taleb was landing at will late in that round. Guess Taleb just isn't that popular in Canada?

His ass kicked in the 3rd lol? Did you watch the last half of the round? He lit Ponzo up on the feet late. The strike totals were almost equal as well. Closing round strong in a close round should get you the round

I agree...

The UFC wants to expand and go out of the country or these new markets, but the refs and judges are garbage.. If they think that it wont have an impact on viewers they are ignorant. The blown calls and bad judging is being talked about more after each event.

He won the majority of the 3rd. Taleb was all beat up. Ponzinibbio wins that fight 8 out of 10 times.

Overscoring aggressiveness is a way to compel fighters to stand and bang and put on more exciting fights.

Could be inline with recent rule changes.

He busted his nose up in the 2nd. It was inevitable it was going to get busted again. Ponzo got busted up in that 3rd round himself. Too much emphasis on how the face looked
