Wonder what the odds will be for Cerrone/Story, Maia/Condit, and Kim/Magny. Excited for all these fights

Kim/magny to wow I didn't even see this fight...
great card again by the UFC

my my guesses right now would be around:
      mcgregor -120/ Diaz -110
      rumble -145 / texeria +125
      cerrone -130 / story +110
condit and Maia I think will be super close
magny probably -160 over Kim or around there

a ton of these fights are super close imo , we'll see how big of a underdog they put story after cerrones impressive fight vs Côte... I'd put some money on story if he's a big enough dog.... I think the line with condit Maia will be close as well ill like condit there

I think Glover will be like +200 against Rumble. If he survives the first round I think he'll win

Just because glover looked good his last fight , I'm honestly not the most high on him but he does have extremely underrated wrestling the fight will be closer then the odds if he's +200 or more I'd def see value with him... Anything -130 /140 range I'll most likely side with rumble here he has scary power and 3 round fights benefit him greatly since this won't be a main event it could help him , pretty sure they were supposed to be main fight before he recently pulled out

I think they were scheduled as the co-main to Holm-Shevchenko

Could beat anyone in the division especially in early rounds but seems to have cardio issues

Yeah he's been known for the cardio, but I think I remember seeing something showing him having focused on increasing his gastank pre-last fight. With him being so viable as a title holder, cardio's an easier hole to fix for someone and I'd be surprised if he didn't do that.

I think Anthony Johnson would be a destroyer at heavyweight as well, he'd be faster then most and his power would definitely carry over ( arlovski fight ) if he wins against texeria and loses against Jon or Cormier winner I kinda hope he gives it a shot

Condit's biggest weakness is his TD defense and Maia is a TD specialist. I can see Maia staying on top of Carlos.

If this was a 5 rounder I'd take Condit but in a 3 rounder I gotta go with Maia. I am concerned the Jackson camp will put together a great game plan. Condit will need to stick and move a lot.

was thinking the same for a bit but I'm not that impressed as everybody else is with Maia's takedowns, I think he shoots super slow and it's extremely obvious he's going for it every time , Jackson/wick have some of the best game plans in mma not sure where you got that from lol? Holm over rousey and condit over Diaz 2 that come right off the top of my head, I think condit stays elusive on the outside and picks him apart probably get the tko round 2 or 3 .... Maia is a beast on the ground but even if he got the takedown condit is super slick I don't think he would get subbed so only way he loses is by decision Imo, so maybe hedge with Maia by decision at worst

plus you gotta watch out for condits variety , wouldn't be surprised to see him land a big flying knee or something when Maia shoots a weak ass takedown mid to late rounds of the fight like against Matt brown when he almost got finished

Carlos is in good Condition usually going into fights.. That typo is that far from the truth..

Yeah, Maia gets the single and stays on top of Condit.. Condit is pretty active off his back with strikes and elbows but Maia holds him down.. Similar to the Magny fight but it's not likely Maia can sub out Condit as he's got very good defensive jits off his back...

Condit will be dealing with a Jits world champion so you never know.. All in on Maia as usual.....

LET'S GO MAIA!!!!! That's my boy....

Going by your display picture I assumed you'd be on Maia lol, we'll see what the lines at anything under -130 I'm on condit big, I think Maia could possibly win that first round if he's fresh and gets a trip or takedown, but condits so active on his back and it'll be so hard getting that take down Maia will be just as tired as that last Matt brown fight and if hes that gassed he'll get demolished here by condit... Big fight whoever wins should be next in line for the lawler/ Tyron winner vs Stephen Thomspson .... Let's pray to the mma gods condit fights wonderboy for the belt in 2017

Well all Maia has to do is win the first 3 rounds and keep the fight grounded.. Rounds 4 and 5 he just needs to hang on if he's gassed.. As I said in the other thread Condit could press late in rounds 4 and 5 and get the KO if Maia is done and gassed.. It's a possibility for sure..

Maia's TD's don't impress you? I think you need to watch his 10 fights since he dropped to WW. Maia has beat guys like they have never been beat before.

Took down & dominated Gunnar Nelson on the ground
Took down & dominated and subbed Magny
Took down & dominated and subbed Matt Brown

                                        Took down & dominated LaFlare
Took down & dominated Fitch - he outFitched Fitch
Took down & dominated Story and finished him in the 1st round
Took down & finished Stun Gun in the 1st round
His 2 losses were to Shields & McDonald - both fought for the WW title... He took McDonald down in the 1st and dominated and lost a split dec to Shields.

Maia also took down most of the MW's.

His trips along the cage are 2nd to none. His singles are money. If he gets a hold of you, chances are you're going down and he makes it look easy. I don't know what you need to see to impress you. You're right he DOES go for it every time and his opponents know this and they still can't stop him. That's how good he is with his TD's.

Interesting fact... Maia is 8-2 in his last 10 at WW. He has 4 sub wins. The other 4 wins and 2 losses were against fighters that were finished by submission a combined 6 times in 154 total fights and most of those sub losses came years ago.

And Maia wasn't close to being finished by Matt Brown. It just looked bad cause that's the only solid shot Matt Brown got on him the entire fight.

Maia does things to fighters that have never been done to them before. His ability to take guys down and hold them down is 2nd to none and he's doing it against the top tier guys.

With all of that said Condit could find a way. Condit is a winner too. As I said...in a 5 rounder I go with Condit. In a 3 rounder I go with Maia.

And I said I DO think the Jackson camp will devise a great game plan.

As I said in the other thread Condit could press late in rounds 4 and 5 and get the KO if Maia is done and gassed.. It's a possibility for sure..
I think this is only a 3 round fight.

Took down & dominated Gunnar Nelson on the ground
Took down & dominated and subbed Magny
Took down & dominated and subbed Matt Brown
                                            Took down & dominated Yakovlov

And I said I DO think the Jackson camp will devise a great game plan.

read the last part wrong , all good I was gonna say jacksons camp has probably the best game plans in mma

but regarding Maia's wins, all of those guys are not on condits level striking or jiu jitsu wise only person that was his level on the ground was jake shields and he beat Maia...the Gunnar Nelson fight was impressive I think Maia is a top 5 ww but that's about it, ( lawler, Woodley, Rory, wonderboy and condit ) all beat him imo, Rory already did.. And rewatch the Matt brown fight the shots he was taking were absolutely pathetic , the most lazy and obvious attempts I've seen in a while, the 3rd round he shot a double gassed and brown connected had him dazed people try to say Maia was baiting him to come in for the kill but you could tell by his eyes he was definitely dazed but he still tied brown up and controlled him so props for that but condits on a different level then brown fight Iq wise, standing and on the ground....Maia is definitely the best grappler in the division and hasn't been hit at all in his recent fights and this matchup isn't the best for condit but I see him winning this one he's to scrappy to be lay and prayed by Maia for 3 rounds and once Maia gets tagged I think the constant pressure will make him wilt

edit this is a 3 round fight I'm assuming mcgregor/Diaz will headline
if it was a 5 rounder I'd go extremely large on condit , 3 rounder caters to Maia much much more

I like your post. I would not be surprised if any/all of those 5 beat Maia - especially in a 5 rounder but I also wouldn't be surprised if Maia beat them. It all comes down to TD defense.

I'm big on Condit. It's hard not to like him but his weakness is his TD defense and he's not the strongest guy. His BJJ is good but again Maia's BJJ is on a totally different level.

The only fighter that really tried to take Condit down in recent memory was Johnny and he took Condit down multiple times. I think Condit would have beat him if he had 2 more rounds. Maia needs to win 2 rounds and chill and he wins the fight.
