Testing a fighter BEFORE the fight is big too...I'm not saying he didnt die from the fight....but it may have also been from weight cut ect....there is a lot that goes into this......just sad

Boxing is not more dangerous it's a myth. Boxing has had more deaths. Because Boxing has been around 120 + years. The impact of these little mma gloves cause more trauma to the brain. Look up fighters on the UFC with more than 20 fights or more. . They burnout faster then pro boxers.

MMA fighters get hit with the small gloves or kicked in the head they go out cold.. Wake up with a headache and not a bleeding brain.. You get wars in boxing that could last 30 minutes of being punched in the head constantly.. That doesn't happen in MMA as most fights are only 3 rounds.. Boxing has had many deaths occur from brain trama, MMA not the case..

MMA has more fights now as well as the sport is growing so yes a sure a death will happen every once in a great while.. Much like NFL in a sense or any other sport..

MMA is far more safer then boxing.. I'm waiting for a severe spinal injury in MMA to happen leaving a fighter paralyzed from the neck down.. That's just a matter of time IMO..

This is the second death in mma since December. Can you point at the last boxer to die recently....??

I remember watching live and seeing that Korean dude die against Boom Boom Mancini.. Dude took a massive beating and simply collapsed and died in the ring after getting knocked down flat on his back... I was like WOW!!! The ref of the fight committed suicide a month later ironically too..

This is the fight and at the 6:29 minute mark in vid is probably the one punch that probably killed him.. He collapsed and died shortly after..
