ward is a technical boxer he doesn't knock people out. ward has only 1 knock out win in his career and it was when he was starting out vs a 37 year old and i wouldn't even call that a knockout. hes fighting after a 9 month layoff moving up to light heavyweight. theres no reason to believe he will knock out barrera when he couldn't knockout middleweight fighters. ref/corner/doc stoppage late in the fight is possible.

ward knocking barrera out would be as shocking as barrera beating ward.
