Dariush has one of the best nogi guards at his weight in the world, no idea why he rushed getting back up the way he did, no leverage to push and already up against the cage.

Dariush was battering Chiesa on the feet.

He didn't need to take it to the ground or risk tieing up with Chiesa and gasing out.

That's the way things go when there's a lot at stake, emotions and pressure are involved. People can cease and desist to think rationally.

Have to admire Chiesa's balls at calling out Tony Ferguson. I think Ferguson would batter Chiesa worse than Dariush would.
