Saw countdown and not one segment of Diaz training anywhere since his last fight.

This is a very poor assumption, considering Aldo fought extremely uncharacteristicly in that fight and litteraly jumped in with no guard.

Also McGregor isn't about 'power' he's about timing and precision. Pretty much every single person who's fought McGregor thus far have done so on 'emotion' and have let him crawl under his skin, this being on such short notice and it being Nate Diaz i really do not see him going in there and fighting like a f'ing moron.

Nate also has heart for days, look at how Josh Thomson Blitzkrieg'd him and he was still not out, i'm pretty sure McGregor gets it done itd simply because Nate has to many flaws in his movement for it not to be exploited but it'll be due to accumulation and not just a single round. u2.5 seem the better bet.

Nate will be in shape aswell considering he was training for a triathlon when he got the call.

Well, Nate is a high volume striker and does come forward, McGregor is a sharp shooter at range.. I see no reason why McGregor can't time a strike and drop Nate early on like he normally does..

I believe Nate gets KO'd in the 1st round like McGregror stated.. How often is McGregor wrong with his predictions? Not often...

I saw that as well last night.. The only thing I saw is that Nate Diaz is borderline brain dead.. When interviewed he struggles mightily to communicate the English language, he stutters, loses his train of thought, can't really form and finish his sentences... If I didn't know it was Nate Diaz I would seriously think he was mildly retarded... Seriously..

No Thor as there was no mention of his training.. Says he was training for a triathlon and that will work if true.. The combination of swimming, running and biking will keep your cardio peeking for sure... Will it help with your grappling and strength conditioning for MMA probably not...

Also it's a 10 day notice fight, why on earth would embedded or the countdown production crew have footage of Diaz training prior to the date when the fight was announced?

Afaik both Nick and Nate teaches BJJ several times a week so ofc they would have been training, same goes with their boxing.

Was actually gonna see if Josh and myself can keep up our winning ways for a few more months and remain consistent like both of us have been doing in recent months.. I feel we both are still tightening up our MMA game though. Was thinking of approaching Josh in the future at some point to set up an MMA gambling pay per pick website.. Charge $20 bucks or so a head to get our best picks for each event like we do on this forum. I would of course incorporate my best picks in all sports as well (BASEBALL, NBA, HOCKEY, etc....) Josh with his NFL play..

Website profits would be split 50/50 between Josh and myself after all setup fees, advertising costs, etc were all reimbursed and paid for from start up..

I need to learn more about setting up these type's of websites, payment collections, and how it all works.. Finding the right website engineer, etc.. I'm sure Josh would be willing to get paid $1000's outside of his gambling from month to month.. I know I would...

Man, there is no way mcgregor is going up two weight classes and koing one of the best southpaw boxers in the division, they have a similar style of pressure with the intent to counter, which will slow the action, and diaz has reach and height on him, will take time for mcgregor to find his range, mcgregor has never fought anybody like diaz, diaz had to get head kicked then blitzed with punches on the ground for his only tko in 28 mma fights, dude can take punishment, mcgregor will need to slow diaz's movement with punches and kicks to the body, and leg kicks, diaz won't break mentally like everyone else, he's a fighter, this is gonna eventually be stopped in the 3rd, but the prop of this going to the 2nd round should honestly be over -1000, its very low percentage that mcgregor gets anywhere close to finishing diaz in 1, and it's a horrible bet at what +150.

At only 20 bucks a month, you could pay a years worth of membership after 1 card. $240 a year is nothing, 2.2 units for most. At 200 members a year, that's 48,000, not even counting the traffic generated on the site, 30 percent of that is good money for just setting up a site, I get 5000 to 8000 views a card, so 200 members no problem. 70 30 split, set it up. That Latifi have shown poor fight iq in the past, comes from a less then stellar camp, and that while he has power he's not very defensively sound. Villante also hits hard, comes from a good camp, and if this becomes a fire fight then it's a cointoss really who lands first.

Don't think Nunes is a lock either, if it goes further then the first she very well could lose a decision, her way to victory is reliant on her getting td's, on the feet Shevchenko is a fair bit better.

How in the fk you can cap a fight that most likely plays out with two 205+ pound dudes swinging until one of them drop as a 'lock' for either side is beyond me.

Lets skip this "comes from a good camp"-argument. Who trains daily with chris weidman and becomes so crappy? He should get an own award named fighter that stand out for horrible development of skills training next beside of a champion!! Camp doesnt always matter.

I dont know what that fight was.. But even Anderson fighting in the worst possible way.. won the fight. And i was on bisping decision.. Disgusting fight to watch.
