Dude..... He got hit with like 3 really good punches and got choked out in the 2nd damn round. Stick by your boy, and your bets fine but come on. Gassed in the 2nd round of 5 like you say. He was gassed. Even before that shot he wasnt as active and when he went back to his corner at the end of round 1 you see for yourself how emptied he was.

I couldnt believe these people when I saw the Diaz and Tate picks. A testament to how clouded I was im my judgement. That was A LOT of juice last night. Im not even talking about the props...DAMN!

With this big upset win it jumps Nate right up to the top as far as marketability for the Zuffa money machine.. He'll pull in way more PPV buys then Kabib or Tony Ferg.. Not sure the UFC match makers will risk Nate fighting either of those guys to derail his marketing hype now in a big title fight..

You would think, but I would imagine that the winner of the Ferguson/Kabib fight will get RDA now. I think they were fighting for the title shot against whomever won the RDA Conor fight.

Diaz got a pretty nice payday with $500,000 and another 100k in bonus, not to mention Reebok and whatever other endorsements. Maybe he'll take the rest of the year off.

I had a ton of people over last night for the fights and when Miesha won, my wife threw a fit and stormed upstairs(she recently bought a bunch of Holly Holm shit after she beat her other hero Ronda Rousey). And then she returned for the Conor fight she said "Conor better not lose this and completely ruin my night"

Well after he lost, I said "Well there are plenty of kids over in Africa that would love to have all of those Conor shirts that you wasted your money on" Everyone in the house lost it and busted up laughing.

She still hasn't talked to me since.

There is a whole lot of tension in my house when the UFC is on.

Clearly Conor punched himself out. Nate did the rope a dope with no ring ropes. Terrible miscalculation on Conor's part. It's understandable why he thought Nate would eventually fall. During the post fight press conference he said he started to panic after Nate was still standing after landing his best Sunday punches. Hind sight is 20/20 but Conor should have used more leg kicks & strikes to the body. He should have slowly chopped Nate down like a tree. Instead he tried to get the fight over with right away with head shots. Nate & Nick have incredible chins. Bad strategy on Conor's part. Kavannah should have said that to him in-between rounds.

Both Champs lose and both champs are extremely weak on the ground.. That's what I saw last night..

Holly and McGregor need to work hard on their wrestling and Jits in a bad way or they will continue to get beat again and in this same fashion... Both are simply not well rounded enough to keep the belts and defend at this level over time.....

The fear factor fighting McGregor is now lifted.. I expect to lose his belt soon even at the lighter weight class...

Both mcgregor and Holm win easy in a rematch, even in a couple months time. Mcgregors wrestling is fine, he was panic wrestling because he was gassed from only throwing haymakers. McGregor just fought stupid, and believed his punches could ko anyone inside 1, any experienced handicapper could have told him to conserve his. Energy, take out the legs and body, because your not finishing diaz till the late 3rd early 4th round. McGregor simply bought into his own foolish Prediction, and it cost him a easy win if he had fought correctly.

Holly just didn't look good. The women's div are just crap still. Right now in gyms all over the world 16-18 yr old girls are giving it everything they have in 2-3 yrs the women's fights go legit. Right now the skill sets and well roundedness still a looooong way behind.

Holly will never look good if she has to force the action, but she still will win every single round, because of her strength to keep it standing and her kickboxing, she's a point striker, unless the opp rushes her, it was gonna either be a holm ko in the 5th or tate was gonna get her down, because tate couldn't afford to fight scared for another round.
