No props out for the fights.. ... Quick thoughts on the fights -

- Melvin Guillard by KO seems like the smart play.. Maybe the under 1.5 at +110 seems like it could land if Melvin comes out swinging like he normally does... He will have a huge advantage standing.. However, if Melvin can't get the knock out early on and gasses out he could get taken down and lose by submission as Girtz is a ground guy first..

- Thinking if Saad Awad can get out of the 1st round still conscious he'll probably win this fight..Patricky has a very suspect gas tank and fades quickly in fights. Saad Awad is legit and as the dog at +125 it's not a bad play....

- Hood vs Butler, both guys look to finish and someone is going to sleep early in this fight.. Love the under at -180.. Either fighter can win by KO so it might be worth it to play the dog Lorenzo Hood at +200..

Burns +400 vs Wren -600 - Combat Press boys nailed this one on the head... Odds are stiff on this fight but I like the favorite and the better ground guy in Wren... Not sure if I'm even gonna make a parlay play on it though..

Josh Burns has fought five times already for Bellator, but he has yet to see his hand raised. He has also yet to go past the second round inside the Bellator cage. For those keeping track, that means he has been finished by all five of his Bellator opponents. That includes Bobby Lashley, who handed Burns a second-round submission loss. Burns has displayed some decent striking in his tenure with the promotion, but he has really failed to get anything going against any of the heavyweights he has fought. He has faced pretty much the best heavyweights Bellator has had to offer, though.

Justin Wren is going to have a strong disadvantage in this fight. Wren, who last fought in 2010, has to overcome five years of ring rust. He is only 28 years old, though, so it isn’t like he is on the back end of his career. Wren has some solid ground-and-pound and grappling skills.

While Wren may not have the strength of Lashley, he should be able to get Burns to the ground. From there, it’s up to Wren whether he can open up Burns for a rear-naked choke or go for the kill via TKO.

Most of Lorenzo Hood's wins are against 0-6 competition. His record looks artificially stuffed.

Justin Wren hasn't fought in 5 years. His record says he lost to Jon Madsen, but a lot of people thought he won that fight and was robbed by judges. He's done well in all his fights, even the ones he's "lost". He seems to have a better team and gym than his opponent, fought higher level competition, and has a decent youth advantage.

Freire's fought higher level competition than Awad and afaik is a better fighter.

Melvin got to hand pick his 1st opponent in Bellator and asked for Girtz. If Melvin loses this fight, damn. I don't think that's going to happen.

Almost everything Awad threw in the 1st, missed. I thought Freire might've taken the 1st. The only thing Awad had in the 2nd was that uppercut. In the slow motion you can see the uppercut and follow up shot missed. I can see 30-27 Freire.

On the flip side, one sherdog live judge scored it for Awad the other two thought it was a draw.
