I don't think it's a smart fight for Poirier at this point plus Duffy is going to be top 10 soon. The kid is a beast. he just subbed a dude that was never subbed in 30 pro fights.

Being a Louisiana native, I'm a big fan of Dustin's, but he'd lose this fight, I'd favor Duffy -185, but good chance we would get Duffy at plus odds with the opener.

No doubt the right weight class for him, chin looking much better.

No doubt dustin found right weight class. Still not as extreme as rumble cutting to 170.

Duffy has fought bums IMO. The better fighter on paper is Porier. Duffy SHOULD be the better fighter based on hype and such though. I think Dustin is the play. This fight will tell the story on Duffy though

I would say Duffy. Poirier might have gotten out-wrestled by Cub Swanson when they fought. Poirier is good standing but I think Duffy is probably a better wrestler coming out of tristar gym with better subs. Duffy has more options whereas Poirier might only have a puncher's chance.
