I really can't believe Tim Boetch and Dan Henderson are still even employed in the UFC let alone headlining the main event on this card.. I'm speechless..

Pick a can any can in this main event I say!!!!..

I'm probably gonna be on the old washed up Hendo with the fading jaw just because of the +156 odds..

Matt Mitrione vs Ben Rothwell is a really tough fight to think out and pick IMO..

Kinda leaning towards Ben Rothwell at those odds but I know Meat Head is a bit more athletic and can take a really good punch though... Ben Rothwell is as durable as they come as well at HW...

Does Meat Head maybe try to take this fight to the ground? Does Ben Rothwell have the slight cardio advantage perhaps?

Good match up regardless!!! Both fighters have been winning lately - http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Ben-Rothwell-2262

Hendo is old as fukk but man +169 against Boetsch. Hendo has been losing to killers, Boetsch is the worst fighter his has fought since Sobral

Lower juice on this card indeed.

Boetsch looked good early on against Leites but folded late in the 2nd. At this point, Hendo's real chance is relying more so heavily on the H-bomb. Slight lean on Boetsch.

Confidence is riding high with a 3 fight win streak, including all 1st round KO finishes against Jordan, Lewis and Gonzaga. Rothwell is a tough out but I think Meathead has enough to grind out a win.

Poirier, I believe is the better fighter. I'll take my chances backing Poirier who is 9-3 against Medeiros who is 2-2 inside the Octagon.

Big step in competition for Ortega against Tavares. Definitely favoring Tavares.

Love Hendo but I have a feeling you could be right.. Tough to beat a guy 10 years the younger when you're age 44 and when your jaw is showing real signs of turning to glass lately..

Safe to say Tim might have the better chin at this point..

I know, but Tim can take a pretty good punch for the most part even though he kinda sucks... That's really what I was trying to point out with that GIF.....

Not so sure the same can be said for Hendo at this point in his career... Hendo is basically getting rocked and or dropped in every fight these days...

                                            Mitrione vs. Rothwell

OVER 1.5 rds is an excellent bet in this fight. Rothwell's has only been KO/TKO'd twice in his career: Arlovski in '08 and Velasquez in '09. Nothing to be ashamed of. Other than those two stoppages, he has shown to have an absolute IRON chin. Combine that with the fact that he is NEVER in a hurry in any of his fights and he makes good over material.

Mitrione has only been TKO'd once, by Roy Nelson, with no mouthpiece in. Again, nothing to be ashamed of. He has also shown himself to be pretty durable in striking exchanges (admittedly not as durable as Rothwell, but not bad).

If you look at Rothwell's last two fights against Vera and Overeem, he was losing the striking exchanges from range against guys with more technical kickboxing. Overeem's chin (or temple to be more accurate) let him down, and Vera eventually got beat up against the cage in the 3rd. Assuming Mitrione has done his homework, you would have to think he will definitely try to do the same as those two guys and be the more technical kickboxer, control the distance, and be the busier, more accurate striker while Rothwell slowly plods forward and takes a full round and a half just to get to work. The only two things to worry about would be (1) Meathead comes out like a crazy man and tries to take advantage early of Rothwell's slow starts and makes it a slugfest out of the gate, or (2) Rothwell's miles have taken a toll on him and his chin has left him. Until I see it though, I'm gonna assume he still has a rock solid chin.

OVER 1.5. I won't be going huge on it just because these are big boys with a decent amount of miles between them, but I like this much more than picking a winner. Good luck!

Is there a line for that? Must be -900 at least. Can he use that thing to stuff takedowns? If not, I probably still like Jordan.

He can use it as a choking device if he get's into the right position. Only big problem for him is he can get hogbarred, or hoghooked if Shawn play that game

I'm really liking Dustin Poirier as he has something to prove coming off his last loss to Conor McGregor in that upper weight division.. Coming down in weight now I think he wins this one in solid fashion.. Probably gets a submission win against Yancy if I had to guess..

Another solid pick me tinks is Chris Wade... Kids getting alot of hype and Buzz around him for a reason...

Poirier is well-rounded and, with an apparently brutal weight cut behind him, he seems ready to roll. But don't forget about Medeiros, the Hawaiian power striker who trains with Gilbert Melendez and the Diaz brothers, among others.
Medeiros has had fits and starts in his career, but with two straight submission victories, he may be starting to put it all together. Though both of these men are dangerous, Poirier seems to have more momentum, especially with a home-state crowd at his back.
"See you at the bayou," Poirier tweeted recently. Indeed.
