I like Daniel Strauss's chances at those odds with his pace and wrestling.. This Pitbull brother is no joke though... http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Patricio-Freire-9960

Wanna play Bubba Jenkins at -115 with his wrestling but something tells me he might get sub'd out in this one.. He's fighting a guy with a ton of experience compared to him.. http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Georgi-Karakhanyan-19472

Still a no play for me.... Anyone gonna take a stab at this bout?

I bet Georgi too early at -110, but he's +113 on Bookmaker right now, and I like him even better as an underdog.

Probably the right call Jim... Bubba Jenkins will have the huge wrestling advantage going in and that's always scary to bet against though..

Zwicker vs Houston Alexander... Both of these guys absolutely suck!!! I'm gonna pick the dog with the least amount of flees in Houston Alexander.. Houston moves a bit better on this feet, probably will dance and move around alot until he gets the take down in a decision win is my best guess... The fighting Indian Zwicker is a slugger but slow of foot and should gas out easily after round 1 but he could land that KO punch early if he's gets lucky...

If NCAA Houston shows up and fights like last time by wrestling Zwicker to the ground he should win. As long as he doesn't get a damn point deducted again for head butting his opponent twice! That's why they had a draw last time and that's why they are doing this rematch so quickly in the first place. I paid a higher price for Houston at -145 but that's the breaks when you try to guess whether the line is moving up or down.

Unsurprisingly, 80% of the posts in every thread come from guys on my ignore list now. What a coincidence.

I found better line play Whipton that's all.. Fact...

Whipton no offense as maybe my post sounded rude..

A few months ago I didn't pay much attention to value and just took what ever the bookies gave me.. I no longer do that as several regulars brought that to my attention in the past.. So based at looking at the pick value in your above post I said it reminds me of me a few months ago.. Not a knock on ya Whipton as I don't care and a 5-3 winning record is decent as long as they are not all mostly big favorites..

Keep the winning up... MD no shots fired so stop trying to start up crap...

Not sure if people are aware.

Virgil Zwicker took the fight with Houston Alexander on something like 7 days notice, last time around. He might be better than he showed.

Also, Houston Alexander is 42 and I think he's not cutting down to 205. He's walking around near to that weight. That's why he weighed 203 lbs at the weigh ins. It could mean Zwicker will have a significant size and weight advantage.

I'm hesitant to pick a winner in that one, but am leaning towards Zwicker pulling an upset.

edit - Zwicker has a TKO win over Ovince St Preux, too. I wish I could find tape of it to see if Zwicker managed to stop any of OSP's takedowns.

                                                Yep, right on all points..

It's a tough bet but the bottom line is Houston Alexander is the quicker fighter, a bit more well rounded and has better wrestling which he exploited in their first match up.. One can only think Houston Alexander is gonna go back to the well and take down Zwicker and just out work him the entire fight if he doesn't get KO'd first...

Smart stupid money has to be on Houston Alexander is my thinking.. Certainly just gambling playing this fight though Sanity Check.... Both of these guys are typically fade material in most other match ups..

I played and hit all the same plays as Bigday except I didn't take Daniel Cormier, Bendo, Bubba Jenkins, and Zwicker... Solid picks overall Bigday I believe... That Brad Tavarez win was big..

I won't be around to see this event live tonight so good luck to all in advance!!!
