I don't watch wrasslin' but from the interviews I've seen of him he seems like a really cool guy. He will give MMA a much needed shot in the arm. Can't wait for all the promo's.

What a joke. I guess Ben Askren needs to sign with the WWE to gain some experience before the UFC gives him a shot too.

Dana likes punk whereas he didn't like toney. Punk is respectful whereas toney wanted money

A 36 yr old who has never done MMA getting into the octagon with men that have done this their entire lives seems like a bad idea. CM Punk is a name, and he'll be a novelty/curiosity act. But they better put him in with some tomato cans and build up his credibility. If they put him in with submission experts he will not stand a chance.
I also read that Dana was thinking of putting him in the 170 pound class. Punk is 6'2, I dont think he can make that weight and be effective.

Punk says he's planning on fighting into his 40's.
Predictions on final number of knockout losses suffered? I'm going to guess two.
