easy to argue 29-28 alves.

jaboun threw a lot but landed very little, and what he did was almost exclusively catching alves on the end of the strike

only guy that got a takedown and really landed hard clean blows consistently was alves but if i was judging id have given it to jaboun for volume and ring control in the last 2 rounds

1st Alves, 3rd Jouban, 2nd was a coin flip in my opinion. I may have leaned Alves, but if I was judge probably would have given it to Jouban to manipulate the 10 point must and leave 3rd round for the better fighter to take the fight. Definitely night a robbery on 10 point must, but better fighter over the course of the entire fight lost as third was most dominant round by far.

Unanimous / Split? What's the difference. You take 100 people and pull three out of the 100 and could have come up with U or SD either way. Only way it makes a difference is if you bet +1.5 which I do not think was available anywhere...and if so, variance is a tawt.

Brazilian fighters have the best home advantage. From just recollections, (if someone have the stats on wins for brazilians fighting in brazil, it would be great) it seems brazilians win 75% of the time in decisions at home. Who do you guys think have the best home advantage? Canada or brazil?

No way alves won unanimously. He won the 1st, split in 2nd, 3rd was definitely jouban. It could have gone either way for a split decision, but no way a unanimous one.

The eye poke stoppage was even worse, he didn't blink once.. Both eye's wide open.. Laughable, he played that ref like a drum.. Jouban should have pressed harder as he had that fight and had him almost broken mentally..
