There's usually some decent betting discussion in advance of cards and the live updates as the fights are happening is usually interesting. But yeah, when a thread gets bogged down with inside jokes, arguing and nonsense it falls short of the mark.

I don't know what bet you are referring to. I don't have any side bets open with anyone. I just recall reading some guys in another thread the other day talking about how they make millions betting on MMA. I didn't take it seriously.

Also, just for curiosity, if the line on a +200 underdog like Miguel Torres is so easily movable to a favorite for a smallish amount of money like $200, why wouldn't you be manipulating the market like crazy to flip those lines around for a measly two bills and then max bet Desmond Green for $500 or whatever the limit is at + money? (I'm assuming you favor Green in this fight like I think most people do)
