#72Seen the guy hit 10 or more fights in a row before the fights start.. He's one of the few guys on this forum that I'd actually consider tailing if I saw him getting hot like that again.. Especially now that I've been a bit rocky these last two months..
Anyways, Ronster is streaky like me and willing to share and post like me when on fire. Keep him around and posting is my vote!!!We need more streaky gamblers on this forum posting and sharing I think.....

Post your picks on the event threads BJ.. This is a bold statement you claim.. Weary of gamblers that are over confident.. Seen them come and go.. I typically call these types "streaky gamblers" and not so much "consistent gamblers"...
Just my take no offense... There are a few boasting these claims on this sub forum and from what I read very few live up to the hype..Comment -

I've learned in the past to stay pretty consistent with my bet amounts though.. 100 bucks a play 90 percent of the time. That's being consistent... Protects bank roll and if you can pick em and win more then lose you will make money month to month....
Gotta be honest though - If I do see a bet that just blows my hair back - I will bet huge or even max bet now.. 1-1 with those this month since doing that.. Those bets are nervous time, I ride the emotions hard with those.. I need to tame that beast...Comment -

#81I am Beelz... I tamed it down with controlled betting amounts and do strive to be more consistent... I also win more bets then not in MMA and MLB over the long haul.. So I consider myself a winning gambler but not Pro..
Just sharing what works for me.. Every gambler is different and has developed or learned different methods that works for them best if smart.. I'm still learning and figuring out stuff to this day and I've been actively gambling for more then ten years now..
Any tips please share..Comment -

#84NO way Marz buddy!!!!... The best thing since discovering the light bulb are these prop betsI love them!!
Just gotta know which ones to play big and very small... Which ones you can bet even for insurance...
For example, let's take a look at this Mark Hunt/Werdum fight coming up - chances are in a 5 rounder these big guys will either get sub'd out or knocked out before the final bell, meaning this fight will not go the distance.. The safest bet would not be the standard under round bet but a prop bet - fight will not go the distance..
If the odds are favorable you jump on that and will win the wager 90 percent of the time... I think the odds should be about -900 then.. Now if Tony or Zalkus or what ever those dudes names are come out with a -300 line then I hit that hard and most likely clean up...
There is always a gem prop bet up on the board.. Just gotta think them all thru carefully one by one and look for the best odds for a certain bet that you are looking at.. It's work!!!!Comment -

Trends are laughable, and no serious gambler looks at them. There's a reason why books are happy to tell you that home dogs have covered the spread every time there's been a full moon on Friday the 13th. It's called poor data mining. If I search through prior data and try to find any trend that fits, you're going to find a million of them. Does that trend mean anything going forward? You can't know until you've tested it on a completely new set of data.Comment -

On that note though, Nunya, I'm trying out a football system. I've back-tracked it through one season, live tested through this year and its performed fairly well. Its only made 122 bets total through 1.5 seasons though, is that a large enough sample size to start giving it a try?Comment -

#91JIBBY, listen to this, there was a guy who created a stock portfolio somehow based off of the number of sheep in England, or something akin to that, that would have performed incredibly well if he'd done it two years ago. Of course it would never work over the next two years because it was random circumstance and he'd just found a ridiculous correlation that is incredibly unlikely to hold true over any other period of time.

#94^^ Fair enough gents.. Let's keep on doing what works best for us.. Thanks for sharing.
If it's working and we are getting CONSISTENTLY paid over time then it's safe to say the implemented system for determining plays and placing bets then works.. Bottom line!!! End results over time is what matters in gambling... Gotta be able to pick winners first and foremost regularly... That's keeping it simple and real..
Carry on lads and keep on winning!!...Comment -

#99When I first seen this post I did a double take then laughed out loud. I called my brother up (because we have a couple of bets that pertain to SBR) & told him that I won. He asked which one? I said log on & see for yourself. I honestly didn't think it would happen so soon. I BROKE NUNYA! He finally had a nervous breakdown & created this thread! I'm having a blast celebrating my fantastic weekend of bets with my new girlfriend (still relatively new anyway). Then 5 days later I come back to see that Nunya, MD & a couple other degenerates are wasting their precious time talking about me. So I'm up 2 dollars on my dear old brother. 1 dollar for giving MD a nervous breakdown & now 1 dollar for breaking Nunya!
I must say though that to win this way is absolutely nauseating. This thread & the report of racism is one of the saddest, most pitiful displays of defeat I have ever witnessed from a grown man. I broke Nunya & literally made him cry uncle. Or more like cry to uncle. Nunya cried like a baby to uncle SBR & asked if they could make the bad man go away.Comment -
