For future reference does anyone happen to know if affiliates or linked books like that share info for the purposes of cutting people out? I.e if I get limited at one will I get limited or excluded at the other?Comment -

#81Originally posted by Wilbo86Sportsbet Australia. Doesn't really bother me cause its one of the shitty local books, terrible lines, high vig etc. But I should be more careful cause I know some are owned by international books. Another one of the other local ones I use is owned by William Hill and offers the same lines.

#82I posted this on the Jibbby thread, should have been posted here...... Cung Lee/Bisping prop -
I think more of lock then even the win/lose bet would be "1004 - fight doesn't go the distance" (+100)
It's even money on this prop and I think Bisping either gets dropped early by chance or Cung Lee gases out and gets stopped before the final bell at round 5..
Just sharing.. I have not won yet consistently with the prop bets so take caution in trailing.. This one seems solid to me though.. I'm on it at even money...
5 rounds is a long time to go for the 35 and 42 year olds even if they are just trying to survive and make it to the final bell.. My thoughts anyways..Comment -

I got booted from Sportsint for no apparent reason. They said it was info that came from a monitoring service. But it was possibly linked to fraud prevention. An issue with my *********** that really shouldnt have been an issue. Hard to say. Really had to dig to get that much info from them.Comment -

#97Gambling math question. Kim's point spread bet is +3.5 and -160. So that should mean you're getting, Kim ML and slightly discounted Woodley by decision (I.E. Woodley by decision - % of times Woodley wins by more than three points, so at least 2 rounds on every judges card and all three rounds on one)
I feel like this is a pretty close match, it could easily be 29-28 for Woodley so the discount can't be TOO big right?
Kim ML is +185 and Woodley by decision is +190. Where do I go from here? I'm feeling I should discount the Woodley by decision a decent amount, but how exactly do I calculate what the line should be with those two options and whether or not that's better than -160. I feel like it must be but I can't figure out how to tell exactly. Maybe I'm just too stoned right now but I'm drawing a blank here. Halp please?Comment -

The probability indicated by betting on both Kim +185 and Woodley decision +190 at equal amounts is given by (100/285) + (100/290) = 0.7.
To turn that into a betting line, the formula is:
0.7 = x/(x+100), where x is the betting line. It's just an algebra problem after that.
It works out to an effective betting line of -233, so you'd be paying a good deal more than -160 to cover the possibility of Woodley winning a decision by a margin of more than 3 points.Comment -
