Ward and o1.5 looking good, which in Bellator generally means Schlemenko is about to get the KO.

They should have started the undercards sooner. I wanted to see Rad's retirement fight.

Shlemenko/Ward doesn't go to decision 19.6 units to win 8 units
Alexander Shlemenko 19 units to win 5.5 units
Daniel Weichel 4.75 units to win 2.5 units
Shlemenko+Weichel 3 units to win 2.72 units
________________________________________ _____________________
8+5.5+2.5+2.72 = 18.72 units
Thanks to Shlemenko for the great performance!

Thanks man, I actually could have done a little better though. I took Shlemenko at -400 and -300 the day the line opened, expecting it to only get worse. He was down to -245 soon afterward. I also would have waited for the Shlemenko ITD prop at +100 if I had known it would be that low. I thought it would be way more expensive. Don't get me wrong, though: I'm totally happy with the way things went. I'm still green in the finer aspects of betting and things like this will help me improve.

It was a little dull, TBH. Guess I've grown a little tired of his schtick. Royal Tenenbaums is one of my favorite movies of all time, but he just keeps doing the same things. Listening to the audience pee their pants when Bill Murray finally showed up was a bit annoying.

I've actually never seen Royal Tenenbaums, planning on watching it with a couple of friends sometime soon, though. I'll let you know what I think.
I saw Requiem for a Dream for the first time recently - what a disconcerting film to watch high.

You definitely should see it, it holds better than any of his films. (dunno if you've seen others). The characters, while still twee, are affecting, unlike some of his latter work.
Aronofsky is a terrific director. Debating on seeing Noah tomorrow. The Fountain is one of my absolute favorites; I recall being in the theatre opening night for that one, and as it ended a woman says, "I never thought Hugh Jackman would do a bad movie." And I couldn't recall him ever doing a good movie prior to that one.

You didn't like the Prestige? A bit stupid, certainly, but a very entertaining film. Bale's performance was outstanding.
I saw X-Men: First Class the other night, and I was surprisingly impressed, I thought it was air-tight. Not coincidentally, no Hugh Jackman.

I saw The Fountain before The Prestige, although they came out right around the same time, but yes I liked the Prestige quite a bit.
I do think Jackman has done good stuff since then, Prisoners is a woefully underrated film. And his performance is Movie 43 was very brave!
