ufc is trash how are there any new fans? Lpga has more entertainment value, im not joking. I got in during pride and now only watch for wrestlers i know. Sport is garbage and they make zero money. Boxing has an amazing card coming up this week. Burns vs Crawford should be great.Comment -

stupid move by shu. but what do you expect. shu let akano get blitzed by cyborg weighing 150 lbs. mizuki trains in a gym for little kids and has some bad take down defense, she will get robbed and held down in the ufc. Japan completely f-cked this up. Mizuki should be boxing for a gold medal in 2016 and winning double gold in Tokyo in 2020. Mizuki would be a huge star like Mao winning the gold in boxing instead of getting into this stupid sport of mma. Wow very interesting. Kind of bummed this happened. Once Vitor lost the TRT exempt, he was finished. Would have been easy money. This matchup is definitely a bit more dicey to pick a side. Still think Weidman is the side but not as confident as I was against Belfort. Wonder what the line will be...?Comment -
im sure there will be some excuse as to why he cant compete...something along the lines of not being healthy to abruptly stop TRT because hes been on it for years but he also stated a few weeks ago hed fight weidman even if he wasnt granted a TUE so idk...lost respect for belfort w/ this move...i dont even think the TRT was the reason he was winning...TRT isnt the end all be all...belfort is just beastly but this was a corny move...not sure what the line will be on the new fight but i still like weidman for a pick at the moment...Comment -
I loved Weidman all day vs. Vitor. Especially a non TRT, tested Vitor. But if Machida is near the odds Vitor was I will side with him. He has many more variables to do better. Better cardio. Better TDD. Can pretty much play keep away vs. anyone, even though that has lost him some decisions. More patient than any other fighter out there...doesn't care if he is boo'd out of the arena.Comment -

so apparently belfort was randomly tested 2.5 weeks ago around the time of the MMA awards...whats the chance belfort failed the test miserably and thats whats really behind him pulling out of the fight? a qoute from Weidman from a day ago...

Vitor Belfort: UFC pulled me from UFC 173; I didn't withdraw
Hours after the UFC announced Lyoto Machida will replace "The Phenom" in a title fight with Chris Weidman on May 24 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Belfort posted a statement on his Facebook page on the subject.
According to the Brazilian, he didn’t decide withdraw from UFC 173 after the Nevada State Athletic Commission opted to ban the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) on Thursday.
"Vitor Belfort didn’t give up on the fight," he wrote, "he was forced to give up.
"I never gave up on UFC 173 fight and never said that. Any information about it in the media is not true. What I said was that I’ll ‘quit on TRT’, and not ‘quit on the fight’, to continue my dream to fight."
Belfort says that he needed more time to get ready for a fight without the use of TRT, and he expects to fight the winner of Weidman vs. Machida when he returns.
"The UFC has decided to put another opponent in my place because of the fact that I won’t have time to suit NSAC’s new rules," he said. "According to the UFC, I will fight the winner of Weidman vs. Lyoto under the athletic commission new rules.Comment -
