Wow that was just feking gruesome. Had to watch it a few times in super slo mo and that was as bad as it gets. I was on Weidman but I also had plays on UD and MD, so would have liked it to go to the cards but with Weidman already rolling Silva's eyes back in his head in the 1st round not sure it was ever going to the cards, even without the freak accident. Obviously he worked on checking those leg kicks because he sure checked that one!

After this fight how could someone not be a believer in Weidman? Obviously the leg break was a freak accident but he now has beat Silva twice; and he dominated the first round and almost ended the fight. Silva jumped to -210 right before the fight and was +115 between rounds with Weidman at -145. Just saying.

my thoughts exactly...Weidman just might be as good as a lot think...but hard to tell with the oddities of his last two fights...still doesn't seem to me that Silve and Weidman have REALLY fought yet...and now they never will

Its too bad Anderson had to go out like that. He still had a real shot at winning that fight. He was doing alright in the second round until he broke his leg like that. Horrible. Even if he comes back it is very doubtful that he will be capable of the same things. When you consider the fact that he wanted to retire before the fight it makes me doubtful that he is going to have more of a desire to continue fighting now that hes had that terrible an injury. He has had a rod put in his leg, that should be a wrap.

...anybody got any plays on Michael Johnson? We got a whole card to analyze why is everybody only talking about Anderson Weidman?

I think Michael Johnson is coming into his own right now, will be more athletic and just as strong as Tibau. Plus with Tibaus weigh cut, anything can go wrong.

I also like Dennis Siver over Manny. Mannys gonna try to grapple and land bombs and I just see Siver avoiding the takedown with his improved grappling of late( was out grappling Cub Swanson before ko and completely dominated Nam Phan) and pick him apart on the feet.

And my last supremely confident pick is Robbie Peralta over Estevan Payan. I don't know a super lot about Payan except that he got out grappled and sliced up bad bad verse Jeremey Stephens, but I do know that Robbie will come into this fight focused and ready to fight
