You seriously think that the line moved 55 cents at once? I took it at -110 when it opened. A while later, it hadn't moved since, and I bet it at -135. It moved within 20 seconds.

I understand line movement just fine. I can't help if you misinterpreted what I said (most likely on purpose just to be a dick). As much as you'd like to think it, you're not superior to me in any way.

I actually tend to think that even though MMA's certainly not efficient, lines tend to follow the movement on openers and in the right direction, generally speaking. Mostly because the people who jump on openers take it more seriously, and so are sharp relative to all bettors anyway. That's the sense I get, but I'm still pretty new.

I don't think so. From what I've examined, lines generally tend to move away from the opener, and then, closer to fight time, begin to move closer to the opener again.

I mean to say outcomes tend to follow the line shortly after opener more closely than the opener. It was supposed to be a statement about efficiency, not long-term line movement (agree with your picture there).
