Unfortunately, I totally agree. No way RDA is anything close to a public play in Boston...the Cowboy's line should be moving up. I don't know what is happening. But...Cerrone tanking a fight after killing himself over the last few months in New Mexico...can't see that.Comment -

#671Originally posted by Das JaxMan... why'd you have to remind me about that fight? I was so psyched to have capped that correctly (particularly since Bowling was the dog), I probably spent at least an hour watching footage and to then have it taken away with practically an audible *poof* sound effect... so incredibly frustrating.
The ref was going to take a point for it because he said it was intentional. Then when Bowling can't continue, he changes his mind? WTF? Should have been a DQ. Bowling was 3 seconds away from being up 20-18 to boot. 20-17 including the point deduction.Comment -

#672Originally posted by Thor4140Looked like he didn't even want to be out there fighting. Now who knew what with this fight? How did the bookies know to drop that line? Did they know about an injury but it was held from us? I don't know how many times i have to show guys this but they still will never learn. I saw a few guys get reeled right (jumping in or betting more) in like Big Day and MD when they saw the line drop (sorry Big Day and MD) It is bookmaking 101 and the more ******* this out the more people will live in denial. Nobody was betting RDA especially when the line dropped. I ask again if this is all legit why drop the line when people are taking Cerrone. The only way u would drop the line is if u have a great idea that u are gonna win and cheat out others for that big profit. KInda like how they do it in the market. Hype up a stock than bail out and the suckers are stuck holding the garbage.Comment -

I don't really care that much, but that's some bulllllsheet.Comment -

It's not some conspiracy. Every single line that I today bet got much worse between the time I placed it and the time the fight took place. Some by 100+ cents, yet they went 2-3-1. Line movement isn't caused by some shady inside info.
Tavare from -450 to -560
Condit from -240 to -290
Whitaker -130 went to -185
Hioki from -130 to -170
Head from +100 to -135
Bowling +120 to +110
Some pretty big moves there, yet thse went 2-3-1. Line moves aaren't due to some top secret inside info that makes books "know" they will win.

#689First of all... I didn't bet the main, besides laying it all on the line: risking a massive 30 points, winning a whopping 39 SBR points
I don't think Cerrone losing was that big of an upset and I certainly don't want to uh, "align" myself with the poster that thinks decision fights are fixed according to the wish of the bookies, but yeah to me it certainly did look like Cerrone didn't even want to fight. Whatever the reason may be. Might be his lack of fight IQ or his reaction when stuff doesn't go his way from the get-go.
I don't know, perhaps Cerrone is just the kind of fighter that reacts extremely poor to opponents that seek to pressure him. To me, it kind of looked like that. Whatever the case is, I thought that was more about Cerrone losing than RDA winning. Taking nothing away from RDA though, the man is a beast.Comment -

#697If you go back to my post during the fight you'll see what I was saying Thor.
Cerrone just did enough and made just enough "attempts" to make it look like he cared just a little bit about that fight to "sell it" and i still don't even think he did a good job of that. something was clearly up. early throwing the fight or injured.
you could tell by his face and eyes he just was NOT there mentally at all and did not want to be in that ring. his body may have been there physically but mentally Donald Cerrones mind was not in that cage last night.Comment -
