This would actually be really nice if they could think of a realistic, reliable way to implement it.

Getting the media members hired to be the official cageside judges would be best. Unfortunately, the commissions put up just about every road block they can to prevent the hire of people who meet the requirements and who actually know about the sport. Instead, it's just a corrupt buddy-buddy system of inept employees.

I can't see any problem with it, other than possible allegations of corruption (ie media scoring it so the books get the side they need).

Perhaps a rotating randomly-assigned 3-member panel, preferably decided day of fight by dice roll on livestream to ensure fairness, from the pool of media members who already score the fights. Too much work for the books? Go on stream, roll dice to determine who's scores they're using. Too unofficial?

And yeah, I know commissions suck.
