As I mentioned in the other thread, it opened at -175 and was bet down.
5d opened Silva at -140/+100

Wouldn't be surprised if the line got even better if/when the fight approaches.

the way UFC go about promoting it will probably have a bearing as well. We may see loads of promos/countdowns etc... showing a "re-focused and re-dedicated Anderson" with him and Nog brothers, Soares, etc... saying that you will see a completely different Anderson etc...

Reading the Oddessa / Fury stuff on this is great. If that's the type of conversation an oddsmaker and a pro tout have, man, how can you not think MMA betting is there for the taking.

According to sources very close to the former UFC middleweight champion, Silva changed his tune about not fighting Weidman again just hours after he was knocked out by Weidman at UFC 162 on Saturday night in Las Vegas. The sources said they have never seen Silva so motivated to fight someone, and that a little over 24 hours after the loss Silva was jokingly wishing the rematch could happen this week. That's how badly he wants to avenge his loss to Weidman.

Whats Furys problem? Obvious he likes attention and beef with someone that has gone farther than him in the same biz.
So what...Odessa opened his fuckin' lines the way he sees them fit...no biggie. Be smarter and use different books or whatever.
Little dissapointed in Odessa, if its true that he changed his original line for the Silva/Weidman rematch because of furys beef.

This plus the phagets who say "Silva wasn't even trying, didn't care if he won or lost" will make the line go other way, and I can cash another ticket in on Weidman after he starches Silva again.

anyone betting this fight at sportsbook.ag take notice, the bets will likely get voided because it is listed under ufc 168 on dec. 28:
All sporting events must be played on date and site scheduled unless otherwise specified. Sporting events postponed by more than 12 hours and or rescheduled, will constitute ‘no-action’, and all money will be credited accordingly.

You got the tout part right but Fury is no pro. Guy was a sherdog moderator and got BANNED from sherdog. That is all you need to know about him.

It's what i am thinking too. Silva shows a very good TDD, Weidman is not so "explosive" as Sonnen and his cardio goes away very fast, if Anderson do respect Weidman's Stand up, He should win this time.
