Health concerns for Stann. Well...family man or million dollar prize fighter...

It all comes down to smart training and taking care of yourself the right way. Im willing to say that Anderson always seemed smart in that area...he didnt get hit and didnt have any major injuries coming into a fight and didnt take damage from his fights.

"It's interesting, as I talk to other fighters, early in your career you can take punches in sparring and take punches in fights that don't even phase you. As you do it over time, over time, over time, years and years and years, all of a sudden in sparring, eh, you start to maybe have some headaches here and there. You start to realize, this isn't exactly the best thing for your health. I think there's going to be a paradigm shift in the way mixed martial arts fighters train.

You could tell that he wasnt completely focused on it all after he stopped training at Jacksons and just stayed in Atlanta for his recent fights and started focusing more on his Media career. All happened after the Sonnen loss...that was the turning point...think he realised after that that he wasnt going to get his grappling to a high enough level in order to be a legit contender
