Sac, just go in like you are making a normal parlay... on the page where you enter the amount you want to bet, look right below where you are entering the amount, you will see this: Open Spots

Instead of going for the home run, I've decided to try to close out one of my parlays with pretty much a sure thing and cash in on my first parlay in this thread.

I want to get my first parlay win under my belt.

People seem to have this idea that there's a difference between putting $100 on a two-team parlay at +800 and +400, and putting $800 on a +400 straight bet after cashing a +800 wager.

I understand how a parlay works. its not magic. but I do think they are useful in some situations. e.g. getting around low limits, or insufficient funds. however, i don't understand the point of open parlays. can someone explain how it benefits you more than simply closing the parlay in the first instance, and then use the winnings whenever you are ready? why lock up your funds?

Oh, parlays are certainly useful, I'm not bashing them. I've made a lot of money on them myself. I just think that the misinformation surrounding them is horrendous. Even "professional gamblers" like Luca Fury suggest "putting it in a parlay" because you can't play it straight.

As for open parlays, I'm assuming low limits? If I can add Ziggler +140 to a $50 8-team parlay in which all the other teams have cashed, I'm getting down a massive amount of money on Ziggler. Assuming that's how open parlays work, anyway. No idea what can and can't be added to them.
