lololololol no but srs Aldo won, deal with it.

Also, I thought Aldo won the fifth much more clearly than he did the third, and Fightmetric are the first I've seen to echo this view. I should also point out that, although I agree completely with how they scored this particular fight, Fightmetric is not a solid means for judging a fight and brings absolutely no credibility whatsoever to the side claiming that Aldo deserved the decision (which he did).

Glad Aldo won. It was fairly close. I was drunk by the 5th so that was basically a blurr other than the last punch off the cage. I gave Aldo 1, 2, and 3 slightly for landing the harder shots. Surprised so many fighters had Edgar winning. People who aren't writing their scores down just say Frankie won because he did a lot better the 2nd half of the fight and that is what they remember.

That said, Aldo's time at 145 is ticking. He doesn't have a high enouugh output of punches.

just wrote a three page diatribe that I lost when submitting the post right as I lost my connection.

Bottom line: if Aldo steps his game up mentally and switches camps, the only way he doesn't have the title is when he retires.

Aldo clearly won this fight, though personally I had it 48/47 not 49/46. Not that it makes too much of a difference really, but I feel the 2 judges did score it wrong and are not giving Edgar enough credit.

In any case, of his recent "close decision" losses, this one is the least debatable. He clearly lost this fight.
