#701Totally agree...GSP is great at nutrition and cutting weight but he comes in over 190. Look at his legs compared to Condit's toothpicks. If you're easily beating everyones a$$ then challenge yourself. GSP is one of the better athletes ever in MMA but the heart of a frenchie is what it is. #702Hendricks lost to Rick Story, got a some-would-say fluke KO on Jon Fitch that proves nothing, won a split decision against Mike Pierce in which Sherdog had scored two rounds for Pierce, won a split decision against Josh Koscheck in which Sherdog had scored two rounds for Koscheck, won a majority decision against TJ Grant, a lightweight now, who, you guessed it, won two rounds according to Sherdog. His KO of Kampmann was a win over a top contender who was at a severe stylistic disadvantage, and proved little, but was still legitimate.Originally posted by JudgejoebrwnI don't really understand the hype behind Hendricks. He lost to Rick Story unanimously, got a lucky punch on Fitch, went to SPLIT decision wins over Pierce and Koscheck, and KO'd Kampmann because Kampmann decided to neglect Hendricks' primary weapon. And yet he's cemented himself as #1 contender? Why is nobody mentioning MacDonald and the fact that Hendricks would get dominated by him? I'd like to see that fight first while GSP fights Silva and if Hendricks can pull that out, THEN he deserves a title shot. Then (provided Hendricks wins), we get Hendricks vs. GSP and Silva vs. Jones in late 2013.
That being said, though, he's now beaten Jon Fitch, Josh Koscheck, and Martin Kampmann, three top-five welterweights, consecutively, with two KO's, the combined time of which is under a minute. He's the number one contender, there can be no doubt.Comment -

#703I do agree about kosckeck and mike pierce, he lost both of those matches. But he finished sadollah, fitch, and kampmann within one minute. It seems to be a pattern. He finds peoples chin early before they have measured range. Thats a very good quality to have, although after round 1, theres loads of people that can beat him. Gsp vs hendricks is boring after round 1.Comment -

We set up a mumble on another betting site and chatted live beting options. It was fun and +EV.

#708I think i believe kalikas is involved in it. When Uncle Creepy got robbed by the guy who counts the scorecards they said the guy who handled that shit was gone after the event. They refunded next morning.
Who knowsComment -

#721please dude GSp can take down anyone he wants and his boxing is head and shoulders better than Sonnens. As a matter of fact after watching last nights fight i thought GSP hands are so much better than just a year ago that it isn't even close.Originally posted by JoshKnows46gsp wouldnt be able to takedown silva, and would get lit up on the feet. gsp and sonnens wrestling is very comparable. silva has better takedown defense than most people believe. jones would be a great fight.Comment -

#722Yeah no doubt GSP would put him on his back, whether or not he could keep him down is another question but I'd lean to towards thinking he would be able to. Brenneman, TJ Grant, and Story were all able to take him down at one point in their fights and obviously Story was able to have success with controlling Hendricks against the cage. I think it would just be another case of hoping for Hendricks to land a one punch KOOriginally posted by Thor4140bigday he took down Kos almost any time he wanted. he would put Hendrix on his back the same way.Comment -

#723exactly if Hendricks just went in to wrestle and put his boxing aside he would be a bull to take down but that isn't his style. He throws bombs which set up easy take-downs. Same way Kos, a terrific wrestler, does.Originally posted by VaughanyYeah no doubt GSP would put him on his back, whether or not he could keep him down is another question but I'd lean to towards thinking he would be able to. #724I honestly believe Hendricks could load up even more on that left. It's landing on the perfect location each time. Fighters aren't seeing it. I think my earlier statement about GSP not being able to take down Hendricks was induced by a blood alcohol level. I was extremely happy to cash a couple units on Hendricks. Second half of the year for me has been sub par. Lol. One would think If Hendricks/GSP happened it would be a free money hedge GSP by dec, Hendricks by KO/TKO. Could GSP easily advance Johneys guard and sub him? That's the question. Sorry for the drunken rant.

#727yea pierce got screwed out of both his bouts with kos and hendricks, I thought he won both.. I feel for Pierce, he's out of contention talks when he arguably beat both kos and hendricks (I think he did as did most legit websites out there)...Originally posted by bjpenn85I do agree about kosckeck and mike pierce, he lost both of those matches.
