Should be trivial to hire a russian programmer to develop a hog recognition program. Then just load the computer with historical weigh-in photos.

Although, that raises the question, can we really study flaccid hogs and achieve accurate results?

Interesting question indeed. Perhaps Fury and Kalikas could discuss it on next oddscast or perhaps do an article on the website...would be interesting to see how big of a part hog analysis plays in his line-setting.

I appreciate the starting point. Don't you think an infrared camera system could do away with the need for 3-d imagine as well as blood pressure data?

I worry that blood pressure data could be manipulated due to PEDs.

I would rather not discuss advanced methods in an open forum. I will say that you can get a Russian to do more than just program for the right price.
