Because of cases like yours, I think it will be better to do these per event, same exact structure and prizes, just that instead of accumulating, whoever gets the most + units gets the prize, rinse and repeat.

If that's the case then the format needs to be changed to pick more fights or something, otherwise its just who can guess which is the biggest dog to win.

Couldn't just be plug and play right?? Judging for the results of the past events, I think that is easier said than done, most of our "top mma cappers" had at least one -$1000 night.
