if you were at a miami heat game (FTX arena) with a wife/girlfriend/friend, and they said "what is FTX"... what would your answer be? would you say FTX is a company that has nothing to do with bitcoin or cryptocurrency LOLOLOL

Pretty sure bitcoin is going to be basically worthless someday. Not to say it won’t go up because it probably still will but it won’t be the thing of the future. That I am certain of.

20 years from now the us dollar has a 100% chance of having less purchasing power than it does today... yet nobody talks about how all fiat currencies become worthless

if your great-grandparents kept all of their net worth in cash in their mattress, it would be down 95%... if they kept it in gold in their mattress it would have the same buying power it did then... that's why governments/banks/media in history always try to make holding gold (and now crypto as well) illegal

    Morning, Mike:

yet nobody talks about how all fiat currencies become worthless

Of course, your comment is a good one. I would argue that A LOT of people are starting to talk about this. Yellen just asked for the debt ceiling to be raised again, what a joke.

If "asset value" was defined in ability to buy a Dozen eggs...that value has eroded by 50% in the Last 6 months.

I think people are waking up to the $$ printing. That's my basic point on the BTC price. Just as a response to inflation, I expect BTC price to rise in lock-step.

Have a great day. Hope you cash some tickets.

weird thing about the south, most of these places don't even seem to care that inflation is rising faster than they label their prices... just in the past 2 days, i bought a hostess honey bun that was marked $2.39 and rang up at $2.99, and cans of modelo at a different convenience store that were marked $3.19 and rang up $3.69

and when you point out their prices are fukked up, they laugh cuz they know you're buying it anyway

With all the talk of ChatGPT and AI, some tokens in that sector with hit. Artificial Intelligence of Things will be big. Learning devices talking with each other. Although, I'm not sure which tokens are the best to buy.

You'll probably be right on SOL since it's a great project but all this down time and upcoming regulation doesn't sit right with me. Regulation could be said about most of alts becoming securities. LTC will increase but it seems like a waste since it keeps dropping in marketcap each run.

You are smart with DCA and that takes out emotion.

You'll probably hit when the court case closes. I bought and got tired of waiting and put it in AI. Maybe I'll go back in again but the list I'll definitely be sticking with.

APE and OMI could hit big but a little risky.

Raiders, props to you on all the Alt-coin knowledge. Personally, I know my limits. That's over my head.

What I know is the upcoming demise of the USD. How much can these bastards erode the dollar?

I can post the best example of the demise of US Fiat Currency:

*See the Coinage Act of 1965:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coinage_Act_of_1965

Count the # of bold-faced lies Johnson makes:
    https://fraser.stlouisfed.org/title/...-act-1965-1123
    https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/docu...he-coinage-act

*Consider the Roosevelt Dime from 1964. 90% silver, 10% copper.
    *Compare to the 1965 Dime.
    91.67% copper, 8.33% nickel
...Why was all the precious metal sucked out? Cu/Ni are base metals, not precious metals.

Johnson implies that the 1964 Dime and 1965 Dime are interchangeable. Oh, really?

    In round #s:
*The 1964 Dime has Ebay resale value of $2.00. That's 20x face. Conservative valuation, probably higher.
*The 1965 Dime has a MELT value of only $0.02. That's 0.20x face.

So, the value of the dime was ripped out at a factor of 100:1. Your 1965 dime is worth 1/100 of the 1964 dime.

Still think the value of the US Dollar isn't eroding?

Yea, those are the only 2 NFT and Metaverse/game coins i would even think about touching. Feel like those areas currently have an extremely negative view right now. The average person hates NFTs and thinks they are all scams. Zuckerberg has pretty much killed the little remaining interest people had in any Metaverse/vr shit. And the crypto games either look terrible, arent fun to play (Axie), or dont need cryptos tied to them in the first place.

Like I look at VEVE. Personally, I think the 3D models look terrible and dont know why anyone would want them. I have bought some of the comics, though. Not as investment, but to actually read them. If years from now VEVE is still around and they are worth more than I paid for them.... great. But I ask myself, did they need to build this system with a crypto coin in the background? Especially when the company controls everything in the first place. Its not like you can take your items off the platform.

As for the AI coins, were any of those not around for the last bull run? If so, figure those will be the ones that pump (and eventually dump) the hardest.

Personally been looking into Defi exchange/trading platforms where tokens holders get a portion of the platform fees (ex. GMX, Gains Network).

Aptos (APT) really rocketing up the charts. Currently at #25. Don't know much about it but I thought it had a bad connection to one of the poison cryptos (FTX? LUNA?). Apparently, the FOMO out there was stronger.....

    --------------------------------------------------

Youtuber "Crypto Zombie" forecasts a very large move either up or down for Friday (tomorrow). Let's see if he's right....

    --------------------------------------------------

I've seen a few say that the bottom is in - that BTC will be hanging around 20K-30K for months to come... The market is back above where it was before the FTX "crash".

The nice thing about these YouTubers is that they can give an immediate pump to coins. During bull runs I watch the live ones, or when then first come out, to try and beat the masses.

Great project, cheap, fast and partnered with FIFA. The reason that I don't have it is that no matter what they say, they are one of the most centralized. The top 100 bitcoin wallets hold 13% of the bitcoin. The top ETH 100 wallets hold 38% of ETH. The top 100 ALGO wallets hold 63%. Ripple is the most centralized holding 73%.

If Ripple get's called a security it's only a matter of time before they go after Algorand. On the other hand, if Ripple wins, it's a huge victory for Ripple and others that can be called centralized.
