Does the "Evil Empire" drop 3 in a row at home?
White Sox have got an offensive rejuvenation since the Youk trade. They go into tomorrow with a very impressive road record of 23-14 so far this season and Peavey will have the honors of trying to stop the Yanks powerful offense. Kuroda has been real good in the month of June with a 3-1 record and a no decision while giving up 9 earned runs in 34 innings pitched. Despite losing his last 3 starts Peavey has been equally impressive going 22 innings but giving up only 5 earned runs in those games and not getting any run support from the Sox offense to help his cause. Any thoughts for the kickoff game to Sat. afternoon?

Kuroda is 2-0 16IP 0R in the daytime this season.

Yankees are 5-1 in game 3 of 4 game series.

Peavy 0-3 in 3 starts vs NYY. He also has one of the lowest run support numbers in the league this year.

Home team is 7-1 in umpires last 8.

This is a tough game. Lean Sox, they should hit Kuroda, but you never know what your gonna get from Peavy. He could get hit hard or be lights out. He doesnt have good numbers against the Yanks, but personally Im on the Sox and the Over. BOL!

Peavey's #'s vs. the Yanks are actually not that bad. His record of 0-3 vs. Yanks is but that does not tell the whole story. I went ahead and rolled with N.Y. in a par. Hard to beat these guys 3 in a row at home. Gl guys and thanks for the input!
