Redsox will win game 1. Regular season record and wild card finish really do not mean much to the red sox. The red sox let the rays win the division and made life easy for them. This resulted in the rays winning the division and playing the whitesox in the first round. The whitesox were the one of the worst playoff teams.
There is a reason the oddsmakers made the red sox favorites here.Comment -

that's the main reason you want to take the division, yeah.
