      June 6th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
Philadelphia Phillies -112 vs LA Dodgers +104 to win 2 units

How many days in a row do I keep going for these games. I feel good and I feel positive must mean something else cause when I feel good it never seems to go so well =p. Late game was Rangers vs Athletics they also qualified but i didn't put it up because I thought Athletics had no shot .

If I were winning these picks as a system that I was selling where I was bull shitting and told people I was making the picks(when in reality I was fading myself). I'd be getting more credit for this great run I imagine, oh well honesty must be over rated lol.

      I drop 2.24u -53.22u =
Fading to my amount +2.08u +46.632 units =
      Flat bet fading: +1.04u +29.21u =

MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
      My Record 47-65 +/-:

Fade Record with Moneyline dogs fading my amount rather than +1 or +1.5 as the fade bet:
      65-47 +
      48.712 units
Fade Record Playing Opposite me with Runline +1 or +1.5:
65-47 fade +/-: +47.855 units (only when i play runlines otherwise ML fade)

Flat Bet Fading my MLB picks on the moneyline 1 unit per pick: 65-47

      Dogs of the Day:
Cleveland Indians +151 vs Detroit Tigers -161
Chicago Cubs +184 vs Milwaukee Brewers -198
Minnesota Twins +151 vs Kansas City Royals -161
Pittsburgh Pirates +166 vs Cincinatti Reds -176

      +1.51u -1u +1.51 -1 = 1.02 units
      +2 -1.61 -1.61 = -1.22 units

Underdog Picks record: 9-12 -.09 units
Flat Bet Fade Tracker to win 1 unit per pick: 12-9 -.79 units

Yep that's about right. 2-2. I can prolly keep close to this or slightly below .500 and labby myself and come out with profit but that doesn't make sense. Called it though when I started this sub category will continue it to see how it plays out.

Miami Marlins -135 vs Atlanta Braves +125 to win 2 units
St. Louis Cardinals -145 vs Houston Astros +135 to win 2 units

Okay every day I say this but I've meant it before like I mean it this time. The odds are too good which immediately would make me scratch my head but I can't pass this up. I don't think either of these teams loses these games could be a sweep today. ESPN loves these picks and the Yankees I'm not sure about the Yankees though they haven't swept the Rays in a while it seems like a flip(the yankee game).

I would not mess with those. I started off 1-6 and on my next 14 I've went 8-6 picking under dogs. Just not worth it there's better people to tail or fade picking underdogs. It's always tracked as 1 unit, but only 14 picks in no telling how volatile those picks can be.

Oh and I don't know if the unit denominations for MLB Fade Plays matter as much. If I were only down 20 units both of those bets would likely be for 1.5 units each. But because I'm down so much it almost has to be a minimum of 2 units per at this point.

Braves got over some close situations in the early innings to come out with the sweep. Cardinals get it done. I go 1-1 but drop more units in the progress.

                  I go: -2.7u +2u -55.46u=

-1u for me, and +1u fading me. I've been meaning to update the record for the 1st 5 innings but I haven't had the chance to. I'm just tracking both of these categories not something I would fade.

Underdog Picks record: 9-13 -1.09 units
Flat Bet Fade Tracker to win 1 unit per pick: 13-9 +.21 unit

Boston Red Sox -105 to win 2 units

ESPN thinks highly of the Nationals and so do I. I've been waiting for a chance to get them at lower odds they are always juiced. Strasburg and the Nationals are just better than the Red Sox, the write up is neutral but pitching, accusccore, better team other things are in my favor. It may seem like I try to jinx my thread every day but I try to make picks I really do believe will go 2-0 so as usual I think I'm gonna win this pick it may seem like a flip but I just have a feeling the Red Sox won't be able to put up homers.

Will have one more to add to thismaking it 2 picks for the day.

I was debating whether I should even post this or not; but the name of the game is I pretty much have to. I don't think the Padres stand much of a chance. I see both teams are below .500 but the Padres just stink. This is going to be their 7 road home loss I suspect and the Brewers will continue to build a bit of momentum by getting their 3rd straight over another struggling team. I might lose the Nationals one I like my chances of coming out on top but I see almost no way I lose this one if only it weren't so juiced I have trouble betting too much on the Brewers at such high odds.

                            Dogs of the Day

New York Mets +133 vs New York Yankees -143

Just tracking not worth fading is what I think about these. Much better choices to fade or tail when it comes to playing chalk also.

In general my baseball opinion doesn't matter but I have this feeling I'm gonna go 2-0 in fade plays today. I usually feel like I'm gonna win the games due to write ups today I just think I'm due for a winning day. I've only had 4 winning days since May 15th just eerily feel like I'm due. If I were psychic it might mean something though.

Also, is that right I just checked back to page 2. And have I really only had 4 winning days since May 15th

I just had an eerie feeling different about yesterdays games not a sports related feeling like "oh this team can't win" feeling(like I always chirp about pre game). As always ESPN had me pumped about winning the games I picked, but I always know that in all sports both teams have a good shot at winning. This time I just had a feeling like I was gonna win, no substantial feeling just an ominous one. Momentum was at an all time low or an all time high depending on how you look at it, after going on several terrible streaks I just felt like not a lot could be done today. You ever hop or tail someone who is on an insane hot streak and they have so much momentum built up but then they drop that day. That's kinda how I felt about yesterday.

                                  I go 2-0 and make up +4.5u -56.16u=

New York Mets +133 vs New York Yankees -143

I drop 3 units on June 8th on a day that seemed like all the chalk favorites win. Haven't went back to check just guessing. 0-3 bringing the record fro 9-13 to 9-16.

-3 units for me, +3 units for the flat fade tracker.

                                    June 9th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold)
                                    :
Minnesota Twins -118 vs Chicago Cubs +108 to win 2 units

My pre game thoughts contributions by espn pre game:
One team is surging 8-2 in their last 10 and the Cubs are struggling and just suck overall. The Twins don't have a better record by much but it seems like baseball is a game by game scenario with so many games being played in the regular season. I got the pitching advantage with this Diamond 5-1 solid. Write up says something about Mauer coming back, that doesn't matter to me so much baseball is a team game + it should only help me since he is a Twin. ESPN write up and accuscore love the pick not to mention the odds are so sweet.

I'll be doing another game or two for the other time zones later in the day.

                                    Dogs of the Day:
                                    Toronto Blue Jays +125 vs
                                    Atlanta Braves -135

My pregame thoughts contributions by espn: on this game from the write up are. I looked at the odds I liked it before I even read the write up, and looking at the pitchers and the write up I'm sold. I wish I could play this twice no way in hell I'd lose both times + points in a game like this.

Just going to keep adding to this sample I wouldn't recommend anyone fade these.

Edit: I originally had the Twins to win 2.5 units but I can't back them for more than 2 units their record is so bad. I'd rather wait and bet more some time soon when I see a solid team in what I feel is a true mismatch.

The man has said multiple times that he IS trying to pick winners, he's just so awful at doing so that we can all profit from this. Personally I like the Twins today lol, but he's bound to win some games so let's hope that doesn't jinx it.

I don't think "trying" is the right word. My understanding from his 1st post is that he is picking winners based on ESPN writeups (thats why he's awful) and suggests you fade those.

Both of these comments are accurate. If I were trying to pick losers on purpose I doubt it would work the same way. I have no actual control over who to like in a game other than not posting a play I like. I also try hard not to learn anything, so when I get caught in a trap I do my best to forget it and 'cap' the games the next day the same way. Same when I win, I don't suddenly change my method because I won 2 in a row. I chose the Twins today exactly how I pick all my MLB games, and no ones opinion matters other than my a little bit of my own but mostly it's the pre game write ups. In the month of may and june including yesterday I had a total of 8 winning days. In April I wasn't so bad only 2 games below .500 in 39 picks down 10+ units flat betting/+9units fading. Winning consecutive games is nothing new for me and losing consecutive games, well ya've seen how that can happen.

If you think I'm about to pick up a couple games wait and don't fade. I'll be posting all season long. Or never fade and just watch the results if you are curious to see how I do. There's no jinxes in sports just good and bad cappers folks =p.

Onto my first pick of course I like the Twins here, and the line movement is in my favor also. From -118 to -135 and -148 before game hints that something is up with this game. If this game was anywhere above -136 I would not post it up as a fade play though(because I would not be laying the Twins at those odds thus it would not be a play).

I do try to get 'sharp' and pick good odds- which I think benefits the losing. I can't anticipate line movement when I make the picks and put them out early though. No way to get around this and changing might have adverse effects also.

MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold)

McDonald is outstanding the Pirates are rolling and the Royals are struggling. Perhaps ESPN has me on all the right home teams and the games have finally aligned. Yet another situation where I'm backing a team the Pirates vs what I feel is a pitiful team. Not quite as bad as the Cubs but still bad.

                                              Dogs of the Day:
                                              Baltimore Orioles +100 vs
                                              Philadelphia Phillies -110
New York Mets +140 vs New York Yankees -159

I wouldn't recommend fading these. Orioles is the pick I like by far over these 2 dogs that and the Blue Jays both with the assistance of ESPN. The Mets is mostly all me no ESPN though I did read t he write up I just like the Mets here, why not they have the better record how much better can these Yankees really be.

St. Louis Cardinals -107 vs Cleveland Indians -103 to win 2.5 units

My thoughts on the games contributions from ESPN:
I like the Phillies here and espn likes them more than me. Lee is the better pitcher Phillies just aren't scoring any games and it's tough to win when you don't score. I would rather play the +1.5 runline -135 on Baltimore but ESPN is telling me to just go with the better team and let them do the rest. I see this as a close game just like yesterday. Cardinals have an unknown pitcher but I don't think highly of this over achieving Indians team. They've stung me a couple times but this team is suppose to suck meanwhile the Cardinals are the bread and butter of the league. I never have nor will I ever pass up a chance to play the Cardinals at those odds other than the starting pitcher everything is looking good for me to sweep my third day in a row. Personally I'd just come back with the Blue Jays and their 7-1 pitcher vs the Braves but ESPN likes these two games better.

                                                Dogs of the Day:
                                                Washington Nationals +129 vs
                                                Boston Red Sox -139

I wouldn't rec. anyone fade these but my thoughts on this pick: Red Sox are up and down and right now they are down. ESPN likes the Nationals and so do I. I almost never factor how the series is going and the fact that the Nationals have won 2 in a row against this team I think only favors the nationals and not the Red Sox.

I'll update my record from yesterday later. Went 2-0 yesterday, and went 1-2 in my dogs of the day.

I posted the Orioles at 4:35 am and there were a lot of +127s, +130s, and even +136 at some point before the game. Recording that as +129 very easy number to get. If you're wondering why I don't edit this when I win games- it wouldn't make a difference. When you lose a unit betting +130 that goes to +150, or when I win -130 that goes to -140 same shit so no need for me to make adjustments. I don't adjust my odds keep the number I locked in at the time of the post. I check the odds at the end of every day at vegasinsider unless I post my up a couple of hours before the game starts then I just record those odds. Indians I see some +102 but mostly -101 so not changing that.

My thoughts on the game contributions from ESPN:
Yankees are streaking and I got the pitching advantage. ESPN loves the Yankees here and I like it too. Feels like it could be an easy win if it weren't for these Braves also being a pretty top notch team. I didn't really notice how good the Braves are the write up is pro Yankees. I was going to make this a 3+ unit play but then the very last second I noticed the Braves are also 8-2 in their last 10 that means nothing. Hopefully the Yankees offense doesn't sputter on me. No more thoughts on this game, I really felt like it was going to be a sure winner until that 8-2 for the Braves bummed me out. Still though the 7-2 pitcher record makes me feel warm and fuzzy if I were laying with the Yankees.

I've stated that my amounts don't mean to much and I still think this. While there may be a comfort in knowing I will eventually bury myself, flat fading or varying your amounts in a more strategic manner would be more profitable. Okay fading to my amount is up +44u but fading 2x the flat fade of 1 would be up more than that, so I really think fading to my amount means nothing. My opinion of course.

My thoughts on this game contributions from espn:
Sounds like this will be a close game with 2 slumping teams. ESPN gives the Sox the edge and is playing up the Becket visiting his old team angle. ESPN likes the Sox and Beckett to pound his old team and I'm rolling with it. I don't have alot of respect for either team much but I think the Sox get it done with Becket on the mound.

I wouldn't recommend fading these but I have leans every day and I would like to keep track and see how it goes if it were just totals. As usual I'm gonna track different variations and try to stack the odds against myself. Though again I would probably need slightly more baseball knowledge to be truly bad this. I have enough baseball knowledge to pick a slew of moneylines as it is easier than figuring out totals, but we'll see how this goes.

Red Sox are slumping and the Marlins are at home. Great odds and the Marlins out cracked the Red Sox yesterday why not again today. Other than giving up the pitching edge ESPN likes this game I'm thinking it will be close but ESPN thinks the Marlins get the win here.

                                                          MLB Totals:
Reds vs Indians Under 8.5 +100 / over is -120 to win 2.5 units

ESPN can't really pick totals for me so I'm going to have to do this on my own. I like the number think it is too high for these two teams and that's basically it. Indians won't put up many homers so the Reds will have to do the lump of the work. My write ups are meaningless they are just there for comedic relief. I'll add more picks tomorrow could be a big card.

Adding 1 more unit denomination to my Marlins pick at -105 making it to win 3u for me. I liked them before but at -105 I like them even more now. Better price better team, Sox slumping it's looking better and better. I try to never change units but it's early enough in the day.

Pitcher is too good, Brewers are better, Royals are not even good at home, espn loves the Brewers here and I love Greinke to beat up on his old team. Thanks espn write up =). I was gonna play the Yankees also but at -160 I can't do it against the Braves at that price.

Mets may be in a slump but this team is solid enough to get back on the winning side of things. The Yankees are streaking so I can excuse the 3 losses in a row if you ignore that they are a solid team. I think they win here and ESPN gives them a great shot also. And my thoughts on the Cubs game, I think the Cubs stink. ESPN throwin a head scratcher at me but in ESPN I must have faith it's been hitting 50% lately that's a good winning rate for my thread. Let's hope the Tigers lose cause they are under priced surprised they aren't bigger favorites. I wouldn't rec. anyone fade these.

I was thinking about this for a while which team would win. It'll be a close game but Chen and the Orioles get the nod. Late addition but I wasn't gonna play them aboev -148. Was gonna add the orioles at -145 now but I'll stick to my routine. If there was at least an hour to go this would definitely be a play: MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold), Baltimore Orioles -145 vs Pittsburgh Pirates to win 1.5 units. I made up my mind I would only play the Orioles if they dropped below 150 and I just noticed it happened an hour before the game starts. Late steam in the last hour finally drove it down below -150.

How have Hondo and Lang been doing these past couple months. I can lose every almost every day out of 40 days and people point at the one 1 out of 8 or 9 days I manage to win.... Since my post Brewers were at -150 for about 1 and a half hours or so and 5+ hours at -151 or -152 should count Royals as +141 but I'll just leave it a flat +140.

I no one caught the play I had 3,612 views then after the post 3,616. I usually have another 1 or 2 plays I can make late like the Phillies today before the game started they were going to be a play too. Anyway, it's not fair to tally this as a fade play. I posted it 5 minutes before tip which is not how the Fade Play method has been working so I'll add a separate tally for this and continue to make picks with this category. If anyone objects feel free and say so.

Sorry for all the category additions. But picking a total is nothing like picking the moneyline, just like the Orioles pick was based on steam, and the fade plays are based on another different method.

They lost yesterday but that was under a tough set of circumstances. I can't break it down any other way other than the Phillies will not lose this game, ESPN likes the Phillies very much here probably the easiest pick of the day. I dog(insult) the Cubs a lot but the Tigers are pretty bad themselves. At home this pathetic Cubs team is gonna beat this even more pathetic lifeless Tigers team.

These are the dogs espn would have me play. Don't think I'm gonna go less than 2-2. Sox, maybe. Brewers and Athletics probably a split and Pirates are a win. I let ESPN do the heavy liftin when it comes to dogs and favorites. I just try to pick the team that is giving me the sweetest odds in conjunction with ESPN. And that's it for my thoughts on the dogs. I wouldn't recommend anyone fade these too much chalk is somethin like a death sentence.

I don't like any totals today and I'll be playing those sporatically basically anytime I get a feeling a total will hit. I was on point about the Indians not putting up runs yesterday =p. I'll most likely come and post a last second play just something I enjoy doing I guess. Looking at the 6 picks in front of me my absolute personal non espn influenced opinion of the 6 the Phillies and Pirates my 2 favorite picks; not that it matters just sharing =p.

People probably figure I can't hit 3 totals in a row especially considering I'm picking them on my own. Took a little time to cap this third game even though I don't like any of the totals today just to track and see how I would go so here it is wouldn't rec. fading but I'm curious what I would go especially since I don't even wanna pick one.

I just think there's no way it happens I didn't even wanna post it as a pick but that wouldn't be fair either. One of my favorite bets of the week I just don't think there is anyway the Phillies lose in this spot to the Twins today. No feeling just what my baseball knowledge is telling me, which I have little of- but I just don't see it happening based on my what I've seen from baseball and from the Twins, Phillies got this. My baseball knowledge means nothing but I think I got this one right it's might not be an easy win- but it is inevitable today for the Phills.
