What do you base your picks off of? Ive been using player hot/cold streaks lately and it has been working pretty well for me.

Thanks, man. "Others" picks are low odd bets (usually from -120 to + odds), most are H-R-RBI bets. I play these "Others" bets just for experiment to see how well I do. My main picks are NO RBIs, NO RUN and high odd bets (-150 to -250).

Yeah, hot/cold streaks trend is one of the most important factors that I look at. Like I said in my original post of this thread, other things that I consider:

- Bat vs Pitch: how a player bats against a pitcher

- Hitting orders, for NO RBIs, the first position is the most favorable. For no RUNs, bottom order is the most favorable.

- Opponent pitchers must be at least number 3 starter(based on my estimation), sometimes I play number 4 and 5 pitchers.

- Batting splits: home and away, vs righties, vs lefties

- Park factors

Also, I stay away (as I can) from players of good hitting teams: Rangers, Yankees, Redsox, Angels, Tigers.... And of course I focus on Mariners, Padres....

I don't know about others books, but 5dimes starts charging more for those NO RBIs. Now, these NO RBIs are usually -180 and up.

Ok, so I think you mostly play the over 2 1/2 Hits-Runs-RBIs. Yes, in that case, it makes sense to play against the #4 and 5 pitchers. I put these over 2 1/2 Hits-Runs-RBIs bets in the "Others" category.

Because, my main picks are No RBIs and No Runs, so I need good pitchers on my side to prevent players from driving in RBIs. And, I do play all players not just particular ones.
