One situational angle I do like in baseball is playing a team on a losing streak with their best pitcher/ace. Now it is debatable whether Darvish is an ace, but a good team like Texas who have lost a couple of games now in general seems like a decent play.

The Angels last night sort of fit the situation. 2 games is debatable as well in terms of if it is a losing streak or not..

Thanks Dex. Haren still isn't throwing as hard as he used to, but he was getting ahead of hitters and his splitter looked OK. Didn't think the Angels would score this much vs. Harrison, but that's what makes this team dangerous. Probably shouldn't have hedged with that +400 play -- of course, right when I do it, the Angels score three quick insurance runs -- but I'll take the profit nonetheless.
